A gravidez é marcada por diversas modificações maternas psicossociais, tais alterações, podem provocar desordens que junto a uma predisposição, acarretar doenças, como a hipertensão gestacional evoluindo para quadros de pré-eclâmpsia. A hipertensão gestacional é a principal causa de morbidade e mortalidade nas gestantes brasileiras, merecendo assim destaque e maior cuidado. Pelas sequelas e quadro de convulsões que a mesma pode acarretar é de suma importância o acompanhamento rigoroso pela equipe multidisciplinar em pacientes com esse quadro, sendo os leitos de Unidade de Terapia Intensiva o local de suma importância principalmente quando a paciente faz uso de drogas como o sulfato de magnésio, medicação padrão ouro que visa a estabilização do quadro. O objetivo deste trabalho foi busca a luz da literatura científica brasileira possíveis fatores de riscos obstétricos associados a pré-eclâmpsia. Com isso, a metodologia utilizada pela pesquisa foi a revisão bibliográfica utilizando assim 10 artigos que abordaram a temática e que estavam presentes o estudo de fatores obstétricos relacionados a gestantes com pré-eclâmpsia. Diante do exposto, o trabalho conseguiu reunir possíveis fatores de riscos obstétricos, fornecendo assim fatores que podem ser observados na prática pelos profissionais de saúde, em específico a enfermagem que lida diretamente com o cuidado ao paciente.
