Bu çalışmanın amacı, çeşitli sebeplerle ülkelerini terk etmek durumunda kalan ve Türkiye'de geçici koruma altında bulunan Suriyeli öğrencilerin okula uyumlarını Türk ve Suriyeli öğrencilerin görüşlerine göre incelemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmış olup araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Ankara, Gaziantep ve Hatay illerinde devlete bağlı ortaokullarda bulunan 10 Türk öğrenci ile 10 Suriyeli öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda Suriyeli öğrenciler okula uyumlarını etkileyen etmenlerin dil engeli, akran ilişkileri, öğretmen tutumları, okula ve ülkeye bakış açısı, saldırganlık, ayrışma, dışlanma, kültürel farklılıklar, eğitime ara verme durumu ve akademik hazırbulunuşluk olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Türk öğrencilerin görüşlerine göre ise Suriyeli öğrencilerin okula uyumunu etkileyen etmenler; dil engeli, akran ilişkileri, öğretmen tutumları, saldırganlık, ayrışma, dışlanma, kültürel farklılıklar ve akademik hazırbulunuşluk seviyesindeki farklılıklardır.This study aims to examine the school adjustment of Syrian children who were obliged to leave their country for different reasons and who are under temporary protection in Turkey according to the opinions of Turkish and Syrian students. The study, which was carried out in accordance with qualitative research methods, has participants consisting of 10 Turkish and 10 Syrian students who were in public secondary schools in Ankara, Gaziantep and Hatay. The data were collected via semi-structured interview forms which were developed by the researchers of the study. According to Syrian students, the factors affecting their adjustment to the schools are language barrier, peer relations, teacher attitudes, the view towards the country and to the school, aggression, segregation, exclusion, cultural differences, education interruption and academic readiness. Turkish students stated that the factors affecting Syrian children's adjustment to the schools are language barrier, peer relations, teacher attitudes, aggression, segregation, exclusion, cultural differences and academic readiness.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, erkek üniversite öğrencilerinin, Türkiye'de erkek olarak yaşadıkları zorluklara ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle 10 kişilik bir grup erkek üniversite öğrencisi ile yapılan odak grup görüşmesinde, öğrencilere Türkiye'de erkek olmayı nasıl değerlendirdiklerine dair çeşitli sorular sorulmuştur. İfadeler Türkiye'de erkek olmanın zorlukları üzerinde yoğunlaşmıştır. Ardından, odak grup görüşmesinden elde edilen dönütler doğrultusunda sosyo-demografik bilgileri ve "Türkiye'de bir erkek olarak sizin yaşadığınız zorluklar nelerdir?" şeklinde bir açık uçlu soruyu içeren bir anket hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan anket, hem doğrudan hem de elektronik ortamda, elverişli örneklem ve kartopu örnekleme yöntemleri yoluyla ulaşılan toplam 201 erkek öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Katılımcılardan gelen yanıtlar içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. İçerik analizi sürecinde analiz birimleri araştırmacılar tarafından ayrı ayrı kodlanmış ve kodlardan yola çıkarak temalar ve temalar içinde kategoriler belirlenmiştir. Veri setinin bağımsız olarak kodlanmasından sonra, diğer üç araştırmacı tarafından ayrı ayrı incelenmiş, oluşturulan kodlama ve temalar yeniden değerlendirilmiştir. Ardından her tema için frekans ve yüzde değerleri bulunmuştur. Bulgular incelendiğinde, katılımcıların sırasıyla en çok toplumsal baskıya maruz kalma (124; % 56.88), kendilerinden beklenen sorumluluklar (53; % 23.86), damgalanma-potansiyel suçlu bulunma (42; % 19.26) konularında zorluk yaşadıkları görülmüştür.
