"Only children who exist with their unique rights will take the first step into a world in which all the people in the world will know their rights and respect each others' rights…" AbstractThis study was carried out with the goal of investigation of perceptions and views which are related to children's rights of forth grade primary school students. The research was designed properly to qualitative research approach. This research was made with 156 4th grade students. In determining of the research group, criterion sampling technique was used. In the process of getting research data, survey form, written documents and semi-structured interview form were used. The research data were analyzed with content analysis method. As a result of research, it was determined that children indicated that they have some rights such as have adequate nutrition, be respected by everyone, play games, feel being loved and attract attention, have fun and get qualified education. On the other hand, some rights such as make decisions and choices independently on issues related to self, live, shelter, protect themselves from all kinds of danger and get information are expressed by participants more less than other rights. In addition to this, it was determined that some responsibilities are perceived as rights by children. Consequently, it was determined that the children have not adequate awareness about own rights. Depending on the research results it was suggested that awareness and perceptions of students related to own rights should improved with qualified and entertaining children's rights education.Keywords: children, children's rights, perceptions about child rights, education of children's rights, qualitative research IntroductionIt can be said that within a social life in which individuals do not have sufficient awareness and level of information, it won't be very difficult to predict the chaotic situations that can arise and problems in human relations. Educational processes are thought to be one of the primary factors that can influence the course of this situation within the process. At this point, it can be said that educational system and educational activities will have a direct effect on the development of child rights and on creating the awareness about this subject in individuals. This research was performed with the purpose of comparative investigation of perceptions which are related to child rights of the prospective primary school teachers' and pre-school teachers'. The research was designed properly to qualitative research approach. This research was performed with 80 the prospective primary school teachers and pre-school teachers. In determining of the research group, criterion sampling technique was used. In the process of obtaining research data, survey form and semi-structured interview form which is designed for focus group discussions were used. The research data were analyzed with content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the prospective primary school teachers and pre-school teachers have similar perceptions related to child rights. However, it was determined that the perceptions which are related to child rights of the prospective primary school teachers are more comprehensive than perceptions of the prospective pre-school teachers related to child rights. Morever, it was determined that the both prospective teacher groups have not adequate awareness and consciousness about child rights.

Bu araştırmada sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının, çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarıyla kültürlerarası duyarlılık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki durumunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yaklaşımına uygun olarak ilişkisel tarama deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırma örneklemini, basit seçkisiz örnekleme yoluyla belirlenmiş 419 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, Kültürlerarası Duyarlılık Ölçeği ve Çocuk Haklarına İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, parametrik ve non-parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Adayların kültürlerarası duyarlılık puanlarının cinsiyete göre anlamlı farklılaşmadığı, çocuk hakları tutum puanlarının ise kadın öğrenciler lehine anlamlı farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Adayların, kültürlerarası duyarlılık puanları ile çocuk haklarına yönelik tutum puanları arasında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde anlamlı ilişkinin varlığı, araştırmanın önemli bulgularından bir diğeridir. Araştırmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda, adayların çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarının ve kültürel farklılıklara duyarlılık düzeylerinin geliştirilmesi amacına yönelik bazı öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
The process of computer animation design and development for education of children's rights: the effects on attitudes and awareness towards children's rights.
ÖZBu araştırmada Türkiye'nin çeşitli üniversitelerinde öğrenim görmekte olan sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının, insan hak ve özgürlükleri noktasında ulusal ve uluslararası ölçekteki ihlallere, bunların nedenlerine ve bu ihlallerin önlenmesi noktasındaki önerilerine yönelik farkındalık durumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya, ölçüt örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenmiş 702 öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yaklaşımına uygun olarak tasarlanan araştırmada veriler, katılımcılar tarafından oluşturulmuş olan yazılı dokümanlar ile elde edilmiştir. Edinilen nitel veriler içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları incelendiğinde katılımcıların, küresel çerçevede en çok yaşam hakkı, eğitim hakkı, çocuk hakları, ayrımcılıktan korunma ve vücut bütünlüğü ve dokunulmazlığı hakkının ihlal edildiğini, ülkemiz özelinde ise küresel çerçevede belirtilen bu ihlal alanlarına ilaveten yoğun olarak cinsel dokunulmazlık hakkının, düşünce ve ifade hürriyeti hakkının, şiddetten korunma hakkının, adil yargılanma ve savunma, özgürlük ve güvenlik, siyasal haklar, eşitlik ve basın hürriyeti haklarının ihlal edildiği belirtilmiştir. Bu ihlallerin gerekçelerine yönelik olarak ise ekonomik sebeplerin, geleneksel anlayışların, örf ve adetlerin, politik çıkar çatışmalarının, kamu yönetimindeki antidemokratik uygulamaların, plansız nüfus politikalarının, eğitim sistemlerindeki eksikliklerin ve yanlış politikaların işaret edildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca ülkemizde yaşanan insan hak ve özgürlük ihlalleri konusunda katılımcılar arasında önemli düzeyde bir görüş birliğinin mevcut olduğu sonucuna da ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları doğrultusunda, öğretmen adaylarının küresel ve yerel çerçevede mevcut olan insan hak ve özgürlük ihlallerine ilişkin belirli bir farkındalığa sahip oldukları, bununla birlikte insan hakları ve özgürlüklerine ilişkin konularda eğitim ihtiyaçlarının varlığına yönelik değerlendirmeler ortaya koydukları görülmüştür.
