This study aimed to identify the levels of psychological burnout in a sample of working women and housewives at menopausal Stage. To achieve the objectives of the study, a scale of psychological burnout was built, which consists of 20 paragraphs, the study sample was obtained in cooperation with Raihanat Al-osrah Association in Amman, through the announcement of the study, a sample of 50 working women and 50 housewives was selected and applied. the psychological scale, the members of the study sample within the age range of 45-55, The results of statistical analysis “ T -Test” showed that there were statistically significant differences in the psychological burnout of housewives was higher than working women, which indicates the positive effect of work in the lives of women, and the risk factors of psychological burnout is related to the physical dimension, and this corresponds to the nature of the menopause stage which is the age of the sample study. The study recommended to provide psychological counseling services for women in general, provide health and psychological care services for women in menopause, and the threat of community programs aimed to supporting and empowering Housewives.
The study aimed to identify the difficulties faced married female students, according to the variables: age, number of children, family income, educational level of the husband at the World Islamic Science & Education University, during the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019, the sample of the study consisted of 64 married students, a scale was built that aims to measure the difficulties faced female students as a result of enrollment the university, the scale consists of twenty paragraphs. After conducting the study and result extraction, it appears that married females are enrolled in university studies based on mature decisions, these students were able to adapt well and this was demonstrated by the medium level of difficulties they suffer, and that the most level of difficulties faced female students has to do with the overlap and the increase in household burdens and university assignments, also, most married female students who suffer from difficulties are in the age group 31-40, with no trace of difficulties based on the family’s income, the number of children, or the husband’s educational level. The study recommended providing psychological and educational counseling services for married students in the age group of 31-40 years and create community awareness about the difficulties faced by married students and provide facilities and support for them and amending university study instructions to help contain the special situation of married students.
The study aims to explore the effect of university lectures of the expressive activities course on the levels of personal and professional development of a sample of students of the Counseling and Mental Health Department at the World Islamic Sciences& Education University, A measure of personal growth and a measure of professional growth have been prepared, in addition to preparing and designing activities to be applied in the course of expressive activities in counseling. The study population consisted of all students of the Counseling Department registered in the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020 and they counted 562 students, The study sample consisted of the expressive activities course division, which numbered 36 male and female students as an experimental group, and the preventive counseling course, which numbered 36 students, as a control group. The personal growth measure and the professional growth measure were applied to both groups. The control group, At the end of the semester, the measure of personal growth and professional growth was applied as a dimensional application, the results showed a statistically significant effect of the expressive activities lectures in improving the level of personal growth and professional growth of counseling students, and the study recommended the importance of employing the lectures of the expressive activities course in practical counseling to achieve personal growth and professional growth For students studying counseling.
The present study aimed to identify the level of marital satisfaction among a sample of women in Amman city / Jordan, and its relation to some variables, The sample included 165 women, it was randomly selected, the researcher designed a questionnaire that measures the level of marital satisfaction, which included 20 paragraphs, each paragraph measures one dimension related to marital satisfaction, The questionnaire was applied by the study members, The statistical analysis showed: 1-The level of marital satisfaction for all members of the study was medium level of marital satisfaction. 2-No statistically significant differences in marital satisfaction due to the variable number of years of marriage. 3-No statistically significant differences in marital satisfaction due to the variable number of children.4-No statistically significant differences in the levels of marital satisfaction between working and non-working women.5-There are statistically significant differences in marital satisfaction due to the variable educational level of women. 6-There are statistically significant differences in marital satisfaction due to the variable family income. This is a logical consequence of the nature of the study community. The study recommended providing preventive counseling services for young men and women before marriage, and provide counseling services for couples about mechanisms of effective marital interaction, in order to reduce the risk factors leading to marital failure.
