ResumenEsta tesis se presenta como un compendio de publicaciones encaminado a la caracterización de la dinámica de las articulaciones de la columna medial del pie (tobillo y articulaciones mediotarsiana y metatarsofalángica) con diferente índice postural.La revisión del estado del arte pone de manifiesto la escasez de trabajos que analicen las articulaciones del pie, más allá del tobillo, y que los existentes son poco sistemáticos debido a la complejidad del problema y con alta variabilidad en los resultados por su reducido tamaño muestral. Para reducir la complejidad, en otras articulaciones se ha propuesto el uso de la reducción dimensional o el estudio de la rigidez dinámica. Finalmente, es interesante estudiar la relación entre la postura estática del pie y la dinámica del pie durante la marcha, por la facilidad de uso en clínica de dicho indicador.La caracterización dinámica del pie con índice postural normal, altamente supinado y altamente pronado, se ha realizado atendiendo a diferentes métodos. En primer lugar se utiliza la representación tradicional de evolución temporal de rotaciones y momentos articulares en los tres planos de movimiento, arrojando intervalos de confianza más estrechos que los reportados previamente en la literatura. Asimismo se dan valores de los parámetros descriptivos de estas curvas, los cuales han permitido identificar tres patrones de marcha en pies con índice postural normal, y se proporcionan ecuaciones para su clasificación. En particular, se incide en la descripción de la articulación mediotarsiana, con curvas bastante diferentes en cada plano de movimiento, momentos dorsiflexores considerablemente mayores en el plano sagital, y rotaciones muy estables en los planos frontal y transverso durante el periodo de apoyo medio.La caracterización ...
