Healthy ageing and Mild Cognitive Impairment (a previous stage of dementia) stand as two different non-pathological stages of elderly population. Both have very similar linguistic and communicative alterations. In these two populations, prevention and early detection are essential in order to preserve competences as long as possible. On the one hand, the healthy population will need preventive therapy. On the other hand, the population with Mild Cognitive Impairment will also need rehabilitation. So being able to do a differential diagnosis between them is imperative so as to develop the best therapy.
