This study was to determine whether it can achieve the minimum criteria values kentusan, increased learning outcomes, student activity and performance of teachers on the subject of part of the plant structure and function in class IV Semester 1 Karangtengah Demak Wonokerto SDN Academic Year 2011/2012. The subject of this research were 35 students. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, each cycle comprising four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in SDN Wonoketo 1 Karangtengah Demak. Data taken test results organized by researchers. Research instrument in the form of written tests that have tested its validity and reliability. Data were collected using a statistically significant level of 0.05. Results analaisis a price coefficient rxy = 0.755 whereas count rtabel = 0.444. This study therefore concludes that the results are satisfactory and significant application of the learning model role playing on science subjects to improve student learning outcomes grade IV Wonokerto 1 Karangtengah Demak SDN Academic Year 2011/2012. Therefore, the quality of education in schools can be improved through learning models Abstrak: penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dapat mencapai nilai kriteria kentusan minimal, meningkatnya hasil belajar, keaktifan siswa dan kinerja guru pada pokok bahasan struktur bagian tumbuhan dan fungsinya di kelas IV Semester I SDN Wonokerto 1 Karangtengah Demak Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Wonoketo 1 Karangtengah Demak. Data diambil hasil tes yang diselengarakan oleh peneliti. Instumen penelitian berupa tes tertulis yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data yang terkumpul dengan menggunakan statistik dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil analaisis merupakan angka koefisien harga r xy hitung = 0,755 sedangkan r tabel = 0,444. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menyimpulkan terdapat hasil yang memuaskan dan signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran role playing pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Wonokerto 1 Karangtengah Demak Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012. Oleh sebab itu, mutu pendidikan di sekolah dapat di perbaiki melalui model pembelajaran.
