Banjir yang seringkali melanda Kota Jakarta dan sekitarnya, mendorong pemerintah untuk segera melaksanakan rencana pembangunan waduk yang pernah tertunda. Pembangunan waduk diharapkan dapat mengendalikan debit air yang masuk ke Jakarta melalui Sungai Ciliwung sehingga bencana banjir dapat teratasi. Waduk bertujuan mengendalikan debit air dari DAS Ciliwung Hulu. Serangkaian studi kelayakan penentuan lokasi waduk telah dilakukan. Data tahun 2009, PU akan membangun waduk di wilayah Cisarua. Tetapi berdasarkan informasi BBWS bulan April 2015, waduk yang akan dibangun berjenis Waduk Kering (Dry Dam) di wilayah Megamendung. Pembangunan waduk akan berpengaruh secara fisik dan sosial pada masyarakat Megamendung khususnya di lokasi penelitian yaitu Desa Cipayung Dusun 3. Masyarakat akan terbagi menjadi dua kelompok Terdampak (yang terkena imbas pembangunan waduk) yaitu Terdampak waduk dan Terdampak Greenbelt. Keduanya memiliki implikasi tersendiri bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan suatu model penataan kawasan dan bangunan di sekitar waduk yang berbasis pada potensi wilayah, setelah sebelumnya menggali pendapat dan harapan masyarakat melalui kuesioner. Setelah melalui analisis dalam lembar periksa dari Metode Kaizen, selanjutnya ditetapkan suatu sasaran yang sesuai dengan pendapat dan harapan masyarakat di Lokasi Penelitian.
Waste bank is an activity of non-governmental program to maintain an environment health by separating household waste into organic and non-organic category. Waste bank is managed using a system such as banking conducted by officers. For Depok city, Waste bank program have a positive impact in declining of waste volume. However, the bank's activities are currently still carried out in the activist's houses, public services house, and the path of the residential. Infact, waste bank have many potencies to support Ciliwung ecotourism planning by Depok government. This study uses Kaizen Management and Planning Method for Architectural Design. The result of this research is a schematic design model of Waste Bank building by research of society's needs for the better environment health.
