Pancasila is the basis and ideology of the Indonesian nation, Pancasila is the legal basis and symbol of unity. Globalization is a process of change in society without any territorial boundaries. Globalization can be called a challenge, a challenge that cannot be avoided. Therefore there must be a movement to strengthen the values of Pancasila which are not just mere slogans or mere nonsense.
Background: Stunting, chronic malnutrition, results from the exposure of the fetus and young child to nutritional deficiency and infectious disease. In Indonesia, 30.8% of children were stunted, in which 26.2% was in East Java and 8.1% Banyuwangi Regency. This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting stunting among children under five years of age in Banyuwangi, East Java. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted at Klatak and Wonosobo Community Health Centers, Central Java. a sample of 60 children under five years of age was selected for this study. The study variables were child’s gender, maternal age at pregnancy, maternal education, maternal work status, iron intake, history of chronic energy deficiency, exclusive breastfeeding, supplementary feeding, and history of infectious disease. The frequency distribution data were reported descriptively. Results: The majority of stunted children under study were male (53.3%). Most of the women were at age 20 to 34 years during pregnancy (58.3%). As many as 73.3% mothers were low educated. Most of the mothers were housewives (85%). 78.3% of women took iron supplement during pregnancy. Most of the children did not have the history of chronic energy deficiency (60%). Most of the children received exclusive breastfeeding (61.7%) and supplementary feeding (65%). Only a few children had the history of infectious disease (6.7%). Conclusion: The characteristics of subjects under study vary with maternal age at pregnancy, maternal education, maternal work status, iron intake, history of chronic energy deficiency, exclusive breastfeeding, supplementary feeding, and history of infectious disease. Background: Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults which is part of the process of growth and development, marked by changes in physical, psychological, and social with an age range of 10-24 years and not married. The typical nature of teenagers who have great curiosity, likes challenges often makes teenagers take action without being based on careful consideration, one of which is reproductive health. Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social health, not merely free from disease or disability related to reproductive systems, functions and processes. Objective of this community service is to be able to assist adolescents in making decisions when the right age is for them to marry and have children, and adolescents become aware of their reproductive health. Method used is by providing reproductive health education online on the GKJW Banyuwangi youtube channel in June 2021, followed by anthropometric measurements of LiLA, Height, Weight, and BMI calculations. Results of the activity showed that there were still teenagers who did not know about their reproductive health and when anthropometric measurements were carried out, it was found that there were still teenagers whose LiLA and BMI were not ideal. Conclusion: This activity can increase adolescent awareness in making decisions in choosing how to maintain their reproductive health. In addition, it is hoped that the Banyuwangi GKJW youth will also be able to share the education they have received with their peers.
Terdapat kesenjangan antara harapan dan kenyataan pada prestasi belajar mata pelajaran MIPA siswa kelas X antara siswa Reguler dengan siswa kelas Akselerasi. Ada anggapan atau kecendrungan bahwa prestasi belajar mata pelejaran MIPA siswa Reguler lebih rendah daripada siswa Akselerasi. Peneliti ingin melihat keadaan sesungguhnya di lapangan bagaimana prestasi mata pelajaran MIPA kelas X antara siswa Reguler dan siswa Akselerasi di SMA Negeri 3 Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran MIPA antara siswa kelas Reguler dan siswa Akselerasi di SMA Negeri 3 Malang. (2) Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap prestasi siswa kelas regular dengan siswa kelas akselerasi di SMA Negeri 3 Malang. Manfaat penelitian ini (1) Manfaat teoritis dari penelitian ini adalah dapat diketahui faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar MIPA.(2) Untu memberikan masukan kepada sekolah-sekolah tentang system pendidikan yang ada. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas Reguler dan Akselerasi, sedang sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X1 program Reguler dengan siswa kela X program Akselerasi, Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Malang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji-t pada dua sampel bebas dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Dari hasil analisis data didapatkan hasil (1) nilai t-hitung < t-tabel pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 sehingga Ho diterima, Ha ditolak yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang tidak signifikan antara rata-rata nilai MIPA siswa Reguler dengan siswa Akselerasi. (2) Dari hasil analisis regresi linier berganda didapatkan hasil nilai F- hit>nilai F-tabel pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 maka variable yang diteliti yaitu waktu yang dicurahkan untuk belajar, buku pelajaran MIPA yang dimiliki, Waktu untuk kegiatan selain belajar di sekolah berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap prestasi belajat mata pelajaran MIPA.
