Qualified educators and practitioners were working in uncertain and rapidly changing environments -traversing uncharted terrain to deliver patient care and high quality teaching. Students were often residing in campus accommodation, far from family and support networks, yet still needing to be near to attend the limited clinical and simulated training events. Students could very easily feel isolated and lost. This changing environment prompted the creation of Art in Clinical Training (A.C.T.).
