The Effect of Madrasah Principal Leadership and Work Motivation on Teacher Performance This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of madrasah principal leadership and work motivation on teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Cenrana District, Bone Regency. This research is a quantitative research using ex post facto design. The research population was 102 teachers with a technique of finding samples using simple random which was determined to be 50% of the population and 51 teachers were obtained. The data collection method used was distributing questionnaires/questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed through multiple linear regression analysis and simple linear regression and then tested the coefficient of determination. The results showed that the principal's leadership and work motivation had significant effect on teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Cenrana District, Bone Regency. This is that the performance produced by teachers at MTs Cenrana District, Bone Regency is determined by the leadership of the principal's leadership and work motivation. Thus, the principal's leadership and motivation need to be improved in order to increase the positive contribution to teacher performance.
