La calcifilaxis del pene es un trastorno vascular infrecuente, que se observa principalmente en pacientes con enfermedad renal terminal. Esta entidad representa un reto, debido a las malas condiciones generales que presentan los pacientes, especialmente en nuestro medio, y porque requiere un manejo multidisciplinario. Debido a la fisiopatología subyacente en estos casos, la penectomía parcial o total es necesaria para disminuir la alta tasa de complicaciones de las patologías que la originan. Presentamos 2 casos de pacientes con calcifilaxis de pene, con antecedentes de diabetes mellitus tipo 2 y enfermedad renal crónica.
El mielolipoma es el segundo tumor más frecuentemente descubierto al azar por estudios de imagen de la glándula suprarrenal, y comprende del 3.3 al 6.5% de todas las masas en esta glándula. A pesar de ser una neoplasia benigna, es clínicamente importante debido a la peculiar sintomatología, causando dificultades en el diagnóstico diferencial con otros tumores. Presentamos 5 casos de pacientes con diagnóstico histopatológico de mielolipoma en especímenes de adrenalectomía.

Ocurre un caso por cada 20,000 a 40,000 recién nacidos vivos de cualquier grupo étnico. Debido a la complejidad del abordaje y diagnóstico de estas entidades, presentamos ocho casos de pacientes pediátricos con diagnóstico histopatológico de glucogenosis por biopsia hepática.
