Assessment is an important part of the learning process because it helps teachers to design learning process according to students’ condition. The assessment developed should take notice to the learning model and approach used. Thus, it will accurately assess the achievements of students. This study has developed a PjBL assessment model using the STEM approach. Whereas, this study conducted based on the unavailability of the PjBL assessment model using the STEM approach. In this study, the experimental research type was applied which using the PjBL-STEM model treatment to students to practice high order thinking skill. The instrument used is the PjBL-STEM assessment tool which was equipped with written feedback and descriptive questions from the analysis level to the creative level. The research subjects were 35 students of grade VII at a schools in Ambon. The data analysis used is quantitative Descriptive which is strengthened by Qualitative. Moreover, the result shows that the assessment can train the thinking in the higher order thinking skill, on the other hand the improvement is not significant.
Self assessment is one form of assessment that can improve student learning outcomes. This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe in detail the achievement of competencies of prospective physics teacher students in analyzing concepts. The population in this study were physics education students and the samples were those who offered physics studies courses with a total of 30 students. Data collection was carried out for two months in a physics material study class. The research data will then be processed descriptively according to the research needs. The results showed that self-assessment was able to improve the ability of students to analyze concepts. This happens because self-assessment gives space to students to assess their abilities; know their strengths and weaknesses in analyzing concepts; find the root of their failure. Besides that model self assessment is a tool for students to communicate with lecturers to find solutions to their failures. Thus it can be concluded that self assessment is able to improve the competency of prospective physics teacher students in analyzing concepts well.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran blended learning materi gerak melingkar pada peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Ambon. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskritif dengan desain penelitian yaitu One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Ambon, dengan sampel yang berjumlah 27 orang secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 10 butir dan essay 5 butir untuk pre-tes dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata tes kemampuan awal peserta didik sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran blended learning yaitu 18,81. Diperoleh pencapaian yang paling rendah dengan nilai 6,00 dan yang tertinggi 51,00. Sehingga 27 (100%) peserta didik berada pada kualifikasi gagal (nilainya < 70). Sementara hasil tes akhir dimana 6 (22,22%) peserta didik berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik, 17 ( 62,96) peserta didik berada pada kualifikasi baik dan 4 (14,81%) berada pada kualifikasi cukup, dengan rata-rata pencapaiain tes formatif yaitu 84,74 berada pada kualifikasi baik. Uji gain dilakukan untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik terlihat bahwa 27 (100%) peserta didik mengalami peningkatan kognitif dengan rata-rata hasil yang diperoleh yaitu 0,8 berada pada kualifikasi tinggi. Hasil ini diperoleh karena perlakuan yang diberikan, dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended learning. Dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran blended learning tipe enriched virtual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada materi gerak melingkar
