L’article analyse la mise en place d’ateliers collectifs d’écriture créative au sein des premières années de licences de Le Mans Université afin d’identifier comment ces actions ont permis d’engager l’ensemble des acteurs, étudiants et enseignants, dans un processus de renforcement des compétences écrites. En effet, depuis 2013 jusqu’à aujourd’hui, les étudiants ont été amenés à travailler en groupe pour rédiger des textes créatifs allant de l’article de presse à la biographie fictive en les accompagnant à la fois au niveau de la forme (formes de mots, accords, connecteurs, temps et modes conjugués…) et du fond (plan, argumentation, idées, personnage, prise en compte du lecteur…). S’appuyant sur des données principalement qualitatives, l’étude présente le dispositif développé et cherche à montrer comment les enseignants se sont adaptés à ce contexte didactique et comment ils ont renforcé l’engagement des étudiants dans ce projet. L’article se clôt sur la présentation des évolutions des profils observés afin d’identifier les facteurs de réussite de ce type de projet.
Le champ de la didactique du français, en lien avec la réussite étudiante, continue à questionner la communauté dans l’enseignement supérieur. En se focalisant sur le déploiement d’un projet national au sein de Le Mans Université, écri+, notre article analyse les perceptions des étudiants et des enseignants sur la maîtrise des compétences écrites et sur les moyens nécessaires pour les réactualiser. Pour ce faire, nous réalisons une triangulation des données (observation participante, questionnaires et entretiens). Les résultats indiquent comment ce type de projet peut permettre de dynamiser des pratiques en littéracie universitaire.
Les étudiants entrant à l’université peinent parfois à maîtriser la langue française, ce qui constitue un frein à la réussite de certains. Des dispositifs d’aide à l’amélioration des compétences écrites sont mis en place dans les universités afin d’y remédier. À Le Mans Université, les étudiants de première année de licence participent, de manière obligatoire, à ces enseignements. Nous nous intéressons ici aux représentations des étudiants et des enseignants sur les besoins étudiants en langue française en début et en fin de dispositif.
