The article focuses on the phenomenon of humanitarian culture and its place and role in the general cultural context. On the basis of the analysis of the leading researchers’ works, the authors single out social and personal types of culture. In accordance with this classification, it is possible to distinguish socio-humanitarian and individual humanitarian subtypes within each type. The analysis of A. Mole’s theory enables one to single out three main consistently following cultural paradigms: humanitarian (culture of the past), mosaic (contemporary culture), personalized and creative (culture of the future). Humanitarian culture has cognitive, axiological and operational components. The main functions of humanitarian culture are the following: educational, informative, axiological and democratic. Hence, humanitarian culture is a derivative from a man’s humanitarian activity in its vast context. It is a sphere of spiritual culture and has an anthropocentric focus. Humanitarian culture is now recognized as a specific, distinct type of culture. This type of culture was formed as an opposition to technical-rational culture. Therefore, it is viewed upon as a specific method of world cognition and a basis for the development of culture of the future.

Abstract. The relevance of the results of this empirical research is based on a number of factors. Firstly, the knowledge of the causes and dynamics of different psychological states makes it possible to single out psychological patterns emerging in similar circumstances, accurately predict the behavior of the person u...
An analysis of the results of an empirical study of the relationship between mental states and personal qualities of persons under investigation under conditions of detention in a detention facility revealed correlations between stress tolerance and neuropsychic stress (the higher the stress resistance, the higher the level of neuropsychic stress of the persons under investigation), emotional lability and neuropsychological stress (the more pronounced the instability of the emotional state of the suspect and the less developed his ability to control himself, t m below the level of neuropsychic tension), personality type and neuropsychic tension (the level of psychological tension in those under investigation extraverts is higher than that of introverts), the type of personality and the dominant state (those under investigation extraverts are not prone to manifestation of unmotivated anxiety, and introverts are prone to the experience of unmotivated anxiety), emotional lability and dominant state (the more pronounced the instability of the emotional state of the suspects, the higher the level of relaxed spine), the type of interaction with people around them and the dominant state (people under investigation with a pronounced desire for trustingly frank interaction with people around them more clearly demonstrate the relaxedness of behavior), masculinity-femininity and the dominant state (people under investigation, whose mental activity proceeds mainly male-type, heavier transfer the situation of restriction of freedom. The stronger the degree of masculinity in such persons, the more critical their self-esteem is, the spontaneous aggression and the dominant state (the higher the level of psychopathisation of the introspective type in suspects, the higher the degree of satisfaction with their lives in general), depression and dominant state (in those under investigation). dissatisfied with their lives, the severity of depressive states is higher), reactive aggressiveness and depression (those under investigation with an aggressive attitude towards social circling and a pronounced desire to dominate is not prone to depressive states). The study of the mental states of a person deprived of liberty is important for the organization of the correction process and the development of recommendations for the prevention of the destructive behavior of persons under investigation due to their mental state.
The author presents the results of an empirical study of individual psychological characteristics and image of the world of adolescents. The study used the following methods: multi-Factor personality questionnaire 14PF (Sixteen Personaflity Factor Questionnaire, 14pf) Cattell (teen version), projective test "Image of the world". The study involved 50 older adolescents aged 14-15 years. Statistical analysis of data was carried out using the programs Statistica-6. When analyzing the data, the Spearman correlation coefficient was used. The results of the study showed the presence of direct and inverse correlations between the indicators of the techniques used. A meaningful analysis of the relationships showed that adolescents with a complex image of the world and a high level of self-control are more pronounced depressive tendency, guilt, self-doubt and depressed mood. Teenagers with a simple image of the world and a low level of self-control are calm, trusting, serene, confident in themselves and their loved ones. Egocentrique, excitable, demanding, overactive, and unruly teenagers characterize the social image of the world in a positive way. Restrained, cautious, inert, self-critical teenagers tend to evaluate the image of the world more negatively. Emotionally sensitive teenagers with low self-control perceive the image of the world as powerful, strong, and the individual image of the world as fragile, weak and defenseless. Teenagers with low emotional sensitivity and a high level of selfcontrol perceive the social image of the world as fragile, weak and defenseless, and their individual image of the world as powerful, strong, strong. Emotionally sensitive teenagers with a low level of self-control perceive the social image of the world as dynamic, and their individual image of the world as static.
