A infecção da vesícula urinária, por microrganismos fermentadoresde glicose denominada de cistite enfisematosa é caracterizadapela produção de gás no lúmen do orgão. Os microrganismosmais encontrados em tal patologia são: Proteus sp, Aerobacteraerogenous, Escherichia coli e Clostridium spp. As causas sãoinespecíficas, e a sua instalação pode ser secundária a doençascomo diabetes mellitus, hiperadrenocorticismo, defeitos anatômicos,urolitíase, neoplasias, além de defeitos anatômicos, terapiaprolongada com corticoide e espessamento da parede vesicalcausada por inflamação crônica, com o relato da afecção em cãesnão diabéticos. Os sinais clínicos, inespecíficos, apresentados pelosanimais são: disúria, hematúria, polaquiúria, dor abdominale apatia, ou, mesmo, assintomáticos. O presente trabalho relataum caso diagnosticado em um cão macho, Husky Siberiano com13 anos, apresentando pneumatúria e diagnosticado com CistiteEnfisematosa por exames de imagem
A insuficiência pancreática exócrina (IPE), doença comum principalmente em cães, é causada, usualmente, pela atrofia acinar do pâncreas, seguida de pancreatite crônica e obstrução do ducto pancreático, com consequente secreção inadequada de enzimas pancreáticas. O caso clínico descrito foi observado em um cão, macho, de oito anos de idade, em que o diagnóstico de IPE foi levantado pelo resultado do teste da atividade proteolítica fecal (prova do filme de raio-x). Até o presente momento, o tratamento instituído com suplementação de enzimas pancreáticas e adequação da dieta propiciou a resolução do quadro clínico.
