Introdução: A Chikungunya é uma arbovirose cujo agente etiológico é transmitido pela picada de fêmeas infectadas do gênero Aedes. Objetivo: Mapear os casos de Chikungunya em capital do nordeste brasileiro. Método: Estudo ecológico e quantitativo, por regionais, com variáveis pluviométricas no município de Fortaleza, nos anos de 2016, 2017 e 2018. As técnicas de geoprocessamento foram realizadas por meio das ferramentas do Software QGIS Desktop 2.18.25. Resultados: Em 2016 foi confirmado 17.791 casos de Chikungunya e 25 óbitos. Em 2017, houve epidemia caracterizada por 61.727 casos e 144 óbitos com posterior redução em 2018 (583 casos e um óbito). Em 2017 a Regional V evidenciou maior número de casos e maior população, com 16.253 casos e 541,5 mil habitantes, composta por 18 bairros e a menor renda média de R$ 471,70 por habitante. Durante os três anos, a sazonalidade pluviométrica surge com maior volume de chuvas no primeiro semestre de cada ano e declinio em todo segundo semestre. Conclusão: Desigualdades sociais relacionadas aos casos de chikungunya devem ser levadas em conta para planejamento de ações em saúde, a fim de evitar riscos epidêmicos com prejuízos na qualidade de vida em todo território espacial.
