Os mecanismos da fotobiomodulação (FBM) são baseados na promoção de adenosina trifosfato (ATP) mitocondrial, aumentando o fornecimento de energia, promovendo uma recuperação mais eficaz dos tecidos e tem sido indicado para tratar lesões musculares, melhorar a recuperação muscular após o exercício, mostrando melhores resultados do que os métodos convencionais. Objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar o efeito da FBM associado ao exercício físico em relação a saúde e desempenho humano. Este estudo trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa e baseia-se em citações de trabalhos anteriormente publicados sobre FBM associado ao exercício físico, com o intuito de descrever a literatura em um questionamento científico qualitativo sobre o tema. Foram integralizados nos critérios da pesquisa 18 estudos pesquisados com utilizações de artigos científicos e dissertações nos bancos de dados como Scielo, Lilacs e Pubmed com uso de palavras-chaves: fotobiomodulação, terapia de luz de baixo nível, exercício físico, saúde. A análise dos estudos sobre FBM associado ao exercício físico na saúde e desempenho humano é um assunto que vem despertando um crescente interesse na comunidade científica, existindo fatores primordiais que podem ser desenvolvidos com a FBM associado ao exercício físico e utilizados dentro da reabilitação e desempenho com vertentes para adaptações neuromusculares como ativação e potência muscular e melhoras morfológicas. Dessa maneira, a partir da classificação, seleção e leitura de trabalhos científicos, evidenciou-se que a FBM associado ao exercício físico é mais uma alternativa capaz de proporcionar alterações significativas no desempenho e saúde humana.
Resumo: Nos últimos anos, devido ao aumento da interação entre o homem e o animal, observa-se que esta relação provoca reações positivas, tanto físicas quanto psicológicas nos humanos, além de promover avanços na socialização. Desse modo, com o interesse em estudar o seu potencial terapêutico, a Zooterapia começou a ganhar força nas últimas décadas, sendo conhecida como Terapia Assistida por Animais (TAA). Em suma, tendo em vista a importância da Zooterapia, objetiva-se nesse artigo descrever e caracterizar por meio de revisões bibliográficas, a importância da Terapia Assistida por Animais no tratamento de doenças psicológicas, o benefício da relação do homem com o cão, multiprofissionais na TAA, bem como os exames clínicos necessários em zooterapeutas para garantir a segurança dos pacientes assistidos. Os animais de estimação são vistos como membros ativos no processo terapêutico, uma vez que a TAA proporciona uma melhora psicológica, social e cognitiva do paciente, além de promover o bem-estar por meio de atividades multiprofissionais.
