Η παρούσα ποιοτική έρευνα προτείνει τη δημιουργική επίλυση συγκρούσεων σε πολυπολιτισμικά περιβάλλοντα, χρησιμοποιώντας την ψηφιακή φωτογραφία ως διαμεσολαβητή. Ως εκ τούτου, εξετάζονται εμπειρικά και εις βάθος δώδεκα περιπτώσεις σχολικών τμημάτων δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης σε περιοχές της Αθήνας, οι οποίες κατοικούνται από Έλληνες και μετανάστες. Συγκεκριμένα, υποστηρίζεται ότι, καθώς η σύνθεση της ελληνικής κοινωνίας υπόκειται σε σοβαρές αλλαγές λόγω πληθυσμιακών μεταβολών γεννάται η ανάγκη για την εξεύρεση νέων δημιουργικών μεθόδων, οι οποίες θα διευκολύνουν τη συνύπαρξη διαφόρων πολιτισμικών ομάδων στον ίδιο χώρο. Επιπλέον, η μοναδικότητα κάθε κοινωνικής ομάδας απαιτεί την προσαρμογή των εκάστοτε μεθόδων επίλυσης συγκρούσεων ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες και τα χαρακτηριστικά των ατόμων που την απαρτίζουν. Η δημιουργική προσέγγιση που προτείνεται μέσα από την παρούσα διατριβή έχει ως στόχο να δώσει τη δυνατότητα στις «ασθενείς» ομάδες να λειτουργούν αυτόνομα χρησιμοποιώντας ως μέσο έκφρασης την εικόνα και παράλληλα συνδυάζοντας τη λεκτική με τη μη λεκτική επικοινωνία. Η εκτέλεση της διαδικασίας αλλά και ολόκληρη η έρευνα ακολουθούν τη ριζωματική προσέγγιση (Deleuze & Guattari, 2004), ενώ η ανάλυση πραγματοποιείται μέσα από τη σύνθεση των συλλεχθέντων στοιχείων, σύμφωνα με τις αρχές της Φαινομενολογίας. Τέλος, η παρούσα έρευνα συνέβαλε καθοριστικά στη σύλληψη και ανάπτυξη ενός νέου μοντέλου δημιουργικής επίλυσης των συγκρούσεων, το οποίο ονομάστηκε «Ελουροβόρος όφις».
