The applicability of the research is ridden by necessity of exploring the various aspects of labor migration, which has an exceptional social, political and cultural significance in the modern world. The aim of the study is to analyze the ethnic, cultural and religious practices of migrant women in the Republic of Tatarstan. The analyzed material was obtained with help of methods of mass survey, as well as a biographical and semi-structured interview. As a result, the systematization of the data revealed the features of social communication of migrant women, ranked the structure of the social identity of respondents, analyzed their cultural linguistic competence as well as the degree of actualization of the confessional aspect of identity. The article may be useful to ethnologists, social and cultural anthropologists, political analysts, and representatives of the bodies supervising migration policy and inter-ethnic cooperation.
The relevance of the problem under research is explained by the necessity of studying the problems connected with the adaptation of labor migrants in the host society, which is of social, economic, political and cultural significance for the modern
Russian society in general, and the Republic of Tatarstan in particular. The necessity of studying the adaptation strategies of migrants in the host society, as well as socio-cultural processes inside migrant communities is growing. The purpose of the research is to analyze the structure of identity and socio-cultural processes in the environment of migrant communities in the Republic of Tatarstan. The analyzed materials were prepared using the methods of mass poll, as well as biographical and semi-structured interview. As a result of the systematization of the data the structure of the social identity of migrants was analyzed. The linguocultural competence in relation to Russian and Tatar languages was examined, the most updated ethnoconsolidated signs were revealed. Special attention was paid to the analysis of religion as an important component of ethnic integration.There was made a conclusion that the socio-cultural orientations of migrants made an impact on the character of their social contacts and successful adaptation in the host society.
Purpose: The relevance of the problem is caused by the need for a comprehensive study of interfaith group attitudes in multiethnic and polyconfessional regions of the Russian Federation. The purpose of this article is to analyze the strategies of constructing identity in the environment of religious groups in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017 - 2018.
Methodology: The Leading approach to the study of this problem is a multi-paradigm methodology. The article gives a comparative description of the world outlook of the three studied groups -Muslims, Orthodox, and Atheists. Special attention is paid to the analysis of mechanisms of religious socialization and transmission of religious values.
Result: It is concluded that Muslims attach more importance to the implementation of religious rites and practices; the family is considered the main agent of religious socialization, they are more characterized by the position of "religion is not chosen." The materials of the article can be useful for ethnologists, social and cultural anthropologists, political scientists, as well as representatives of bodies and structures in charge of interethnic and interreligious interaction.
Applications: This research can be used for universities, teachers, and students.
Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of Confessional groups in the Republic of Tatarstan: identity and features of its design are presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.
