CONCLUSIONES. * El presente trabajo se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación DER2012-36026 «La carrera por el Ártico: cuestiones de Derecho internacional surgidas a la luz del cambio climático», financiado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad. 1 Es preciso advertir al lector que la palabra «bioprospección» no está recogida en el Diccionario de la Real Academia de la Lengua Española. La terminología adecuada para referirse a esta actividad podría ser la expresión «recolección de material genético marino» o «prospección biológica marina». Por mor de la brevedad, así como atendiendo al uso más coloquial y extendido del anglicismo-especialmente en documentos oficiales procedentes de diversas organizaciones internacionales-he adoptado para esta contribución el término «bioprospección».
