A partir del extracto apolar de las raíces de Ajo sacha Mansoa alliacea colectadas en el Jardín Botánico del Centro de Rehabilitación de Adicciones y de Investigación de Medicinas Tradicionales - Takiwasi (Tarapoto, región San Martín, en la Amazonía peruana) se identificaron el estigmasterol (90,36 %) y el γ- sitosterol (8,76 %) como sus principales esteroles, los cuales fueron analizados mediante cromatografía de gases e identificados mediante sus espectros de masas. Adicionalmente, se realizó el análisis cualitativo de sus metabolitos secundarios.
Este trabajo describe el análisis fitoquímico del zumo liofilizado de los tubérculos de Ullucus tuberosus, nativos de la región andina, los cuales son usados en la gastronomía peruana. A partir de la extracción con solventes orgánicos y separación por transesterificación de los ácidos grasos y métodos cromatográficos, fueron identificados por primera vez la presencia del éster metílico del ácido palmítico y los esteroides estigmasterol y espinasterol en la especie en estudio, estos compuestos fueron identificados por análisis de sus espectros de resonancia magnética nuclear de hidrógeno-1 y de carbono-13.
De las hojas, flores y semillas del Toe o “Misha Toro” (Datura sanguínea (R. & P.) D.Don), planta colectada en la Provincia de Huancabamba (Departamento de Piura, en la sierra norte del Perú) se aisló el alcaloide escopolamina, que fue identificado mediante sus espectros de Masas, RMN1H y RMN13C. Además, se realizó el análisis cualitativo de los metabolitos secundarios y la cuantificación de alcaloides presentes en los diferentes órganos de esta planta.
A partir del liquen Umbilicaria calvescens Nyl. se realizó el aislamiento de los compuestos liquénicos mayoritarios: ácido úsnico y ácido lecanórico. El aislamiento de los compuestos liquénicos fue mediante la cromatografía en columna (CC) y cromatografía en capa fina (CCF) de los extractos en acetona y n-hexano del liquen. Cristales amarillos fueron obtenidos del extracto en n-hexano, mientras que un sólido blanco fue obtenido del extracto acetónico. Los cristales obtenidos fueron identificados por sus características físicas y por los espectros UV, IR, EM, 1 H-RMN y 13C-RMN.
