Aim. The aim of this article is to develop and justify a complex of physical education and health improvement activities, including swimming, for 4–5-year-old children. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the premises of “A” and “B” preschool establishments in Chelyabinsk. 44 boys and girls aged 4–5 years participated in the study. Children from kindergarten “A” were involved in swimming with a complex of additional health improvement activities, including sauna, phytotherapy, and cold exposure training. During the study, the following methods have been used: the analysis and synthesis of special and methodical literature, pedagogical observations, pedagogical experiment, control tests for swimming skills assessment, calculation methods, mathematical statistics. Results. The application of the complex proposed (sauna, cold exposure training, phytotherapy) in the experimental group decreased significantly children’s disease frequency by the end of the course. This proves a positive influence of the complex proposed on immunity in 4–5-year-old children in preschool establishments. Conclusion. Methodical peculiarities of a health improvement program influenced the level of children’s swimming skills. The analysis of disease frequency during a year allows us to suppose that the complex proposed influenced positively body resistance to unfavorable environmental conditions
The purpose of the article is to substantiate changes in the functional status (FS) of young boxers aged from 12 to 13 and from 14 to 15 years under the effect of means of recovery (RM) during their preparation for competitions. Materials and methods. Two groups of boxers of the 1 st and 2 nd categories aged 12-13 and 14-15 years were formed. A course of means of recovery was used, which included sports massage and relaxation breathing exercises. The studies were carried out using the Omega-Sport diagnostic equipment. Based on the comprehensive medical reports, the results were obtained on patented integrated indicators. Results. During the experiment, positive dynamics in the functional status of young boxers in terms of integral indicators (adaptation to physical activity, physical fitness, energy metabolism, psycho-emotional status, the integral "Health" indicator) was established. Conclusion. The data obtained allow us to talk about the effectiveness of the means of recovery and the possibility of their further application for young boxers.
The purpose of the article is to justify the effectiveness of a comprehensive methodology for health aerobics classes in women aged 18-25 years. Materials and methods: the study was conducted on the premises of the South Ural State University training and sports facilities. Thirty women aged from 18 to 25 years were selected. Among them, 50% are university students from Chelyabinsk, 40% are employed, 10% are housewives regularly engaged in health aerobics. Pedagogical research methods were applied, consisting of analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, interviews with trainers and students, questionnaires, a sociological survey, pedagogical control tests, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics (data grouping, analysis of statistical material). Results: The paper provides convincing evidence that most of the types of aerobics have a targeted effect on the body. Thus, there is a need for developing integrated methods which is one of the promising directions for health-improving physical education. The features of our experimental methodology include: compliance with age, gender, individual and other characteristics of women; the motivation of women for aerobics; the use of elements of various types of aerobics, which allows trainers to influence positively the physical fitness of students.
