The threat evaluation is significant component in target classification process and is significant in military and non military applications. Small errors or mistakes in threat evaluation and target classification especial in military applications can result in huge damage of life and property. Threat evaluation helps in case of weapon assignment, and intelligence sensor support system. It is very important factor to analyze the behavior of enemy tactics as well as our surveillance. This paper represented a precise description of the threat evaluation process using fuzzy sets theory. A review has been carried out regarding which parameters that have been suggested for threat value calculation. For the first time in this paper, eleven parameters are introduced for threat evaluation so that this parameters increase the accuracy in designed system. The implemented threat evaluation system has been applied to a synthetic air defense scenario and four real time dynamic air defense scenarios. The simulation results show the correctness, accuracy, reliability and minimum errors in designing of threat evaluation system
Removing noise from the color images is a very active research scope in image processing. In this paper, a new fuzzy based image filtering algorithm is proposed for reducing and removing impulse noise in color images. For dealing with the Impulse noise, an algorithm is developed to search for a set of uncorrupted pixels in the neighborhood of the pixel of interest and to compute the median of this set. A modified fuzzy filter consisting of two sub filters with novel membership functions is proposed to cancel out the impulse noise. The first sub filter detects the noisy pixel by utilizing three fuzzy membership functions, defined for this purpose. The corrupted pixels are then corrected using the median of the noise free pixels. The second sub filter makes use of the relation between different color components of a pixel to remove the residual noise in the color image. Simulation results shows that the proposed fuzzy filter effectively removes the additive noise by preserving fine details in the image.
In this paper a new method for threat assessment is proposed based on Fuzzy Evidence Theory. The most widely classical and intelligent methods used for threat assessment systems will be Evidence or Dempster Shafer and Fuzzy Sets Theories. The disadvantage of both methods is failing to calculate of uncertainty in the data from the sensors and the poor reliability of system. To fix this flaw in the system of dynamic targets threat assessment is proposed fuzzy evidence theory as a combination of both Dempster- Shafer and Fuzzy Sets Theories. In this model, the uncertainty in input data from the sensors and the whole system is measured using the best measure of the uncertainty. Also, a comprehensive comparison is done between the uncertainty of fuzzy model and fuzzy- evidence model (proposed method). This method applied to a real time scenario for air threat assessment. The simulation results show that this method is reasonable, effective, accuracy and reliability.
In this paper, a new electronic system is designed for methane gas laser analyzers using the tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) technique. This electronic system is presented in such a way that, based on this technique, optical wavelength and stability confirm the power of the laser light source. The proposed design includes current and temperature control circuits, amplifier circuits, and laser sensor circuits. This system leads to the control of laser light power. Due to the high cost of a laser sensor distributed feedback diode (DFB) and the impossibility of purchasing it for the actual implementation of the proposed electronic system, the design and simulation stage of this system was performed in the proteus simulator environment at normal atmospheric temperature and constant control flow conditions. The simulation results show that the proposed new electronic system based on the TDLAS technique detected the amount of leaking methane gas by generating a wavelength of 1653.72 nm related to the DFB laser sensor and displaying it on display during calculation. The test of optical wavelength stability, optical power, and methane gas wavelength generation by the laser sensor in the proteus simulator environment at different distances is excellent and remarkable. These results show that if we buy a laser sensor and build a gas analyzer device, we can achieve perfect results by using the device with the provided technique.
