Production of coconut flour is often hampered due to the lack of production control and inventory control are well on coconut flour industry that often cannot cover the export demand. For that coconut flour industry in North Sulawesi require tools in running the business, one of which is a computer-based system. The problem in this research is how to make the material requirement model of coconut flour production based multi-user to control the coconut flour industrial centers in North Sulawesi and how to test the model. The generated in this study have been through a survey in the industrial district of coconut flour to get the data that will be used analysis, so that a complete picture processing system coconut flour and can describe the problem also the solution clearly in order to get the system needs a model along the test by using a test black box the program and test performance using respondents. This above is justified because there is a relationship between respondents who selected models of applications that have been developed. The collected data is then analyzed and designed using some design method that is data flow diagrams, use case diagram, entity relationship diagrams and material requirements planning methods. The results of the testing indicate all functions on the system works well and test the respondent for 30 and 60 minutes resulting in a 60% and 63% of respondents were taken as many as 30 answered easily using the model application.
North Sulawesi Province in Indonesia has a huge numbers of coconut growers that consists of 42% from the whole peasant in the region. Traditionally, growers produces copra and have their commodity sell to local cooperation, while some of them sold to the middle buyer that eventually sell the product to cooperation or to the company produces coconut oil. While the first practice seemed to be beneficial to the growers, the latter if optimised properly may be of more benefit to the peasants due to more dynamic supply and demand between growers and buyers. It could also make a direct sellers to buyers transaction which result in a best supply chain that result in a competitive price of sale which is an advantage to the coconut growers.
The fisheries sector is one of the strategic sectors in national development. Traditional fisheries in Indonesia are relatively large, so that community economic increases. In this research, a control device for Cakalang Fufu Fish processing will be made to help businessman, especially in Manado. Usually, the business is done by the community using simple equipment with coconut shell fuel and firewood which causes environmental pollution from smoke that is used for processing and burning eyes. This system includes hardware consisting of temperature sensors, Arduino Uno servo motor microcontrollers, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), driver relay circuits and fans. While the software on this system uses C Language. The system will work based on the hot smoke generated by Cakalang Fufu Fish smoking process who detected by a temperature sensor that is inputted to the microcontroller to be displayed on the LCD. The temperatures are set in range of 80 to 100 degree C for a specified time of 60 minutes. After the time finished, the alarm/buzzer will sound to indicate that Cakalang Fufu Fish is cooked. As a motor cooler, the fan must turn on to reduce excessive heat so that the fuming is evenly distributed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
