Das Interesse an Erkenntnissen über das »Erwerben 1 und/oder .Lernen* fremder Sprachen hat in den letzten Jahren stark zugenommen. Insbesondere zum außerschulischen Zweitsprachenerwerb sind zahlreiche Daten erhoben worden; ihre Interpretation hat zu einer Erwerbstheorie geführt, deren Gültigkeit bisweilen auch für den Bereich des gesteuerten Fremdsprachenlernens in der Schule postuliert worden ist. Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird zunächst gezeigt, daß solche apriorischen Übernahmen vom methodischen Standpunkt aus zweifelhaft sind und daß Daten nur für den Kontext interpretiert werden dürfen, in dem sie erhoben worden sind. Im Anschluß daran werden Sprachproduktionen aus unterschiedlichen Formen von Fremdsprachenunterricht vor dem Hintergrund von unterrichtsspezifischen Fragestellungen interpretiert. So werden die vielschichtigen Konzepte ,Erwartung' und , theoretisch vorgestellt und im Rahmen der erhobenen Datenkorpora an zahlreichen Beispielen exemplifiziert. Darauf basierend wird für die Zweitsprachenerwerbsforschung und die am Fremdsprachenunterricht interessierte Sprachlehrforschung gezeigt, daß die jeweilige sprachliche Umgebung, die Forschungsobjekte und das Verständnis von Lernen für die beiden Disziplinen nicht identisch und damit nicht unmittelbar vergleichbar sind.L'interet porte ä l'ensemble des connaissances relatives ä l'acquisition et/ou ä l'apprentissage des langues etrangeres s'est enormement accru ces dernieres annees. De nombreuses donnees ont ete recueillies, et ce principalement dans le domaine de l'acquisition d'une langue seconde en dehors du cadre scolaire. L'interpretation de ces donnees a mene ä une theorie de l'apprentissage dont la validite a, jusqu'ä present, ete posee comme principe egalement applicable dans le domaine de l'apprentissage dirige des langues etrangeres en cadre scolaire. Le present article a tout d'abord pour but de montrer que de telles applications a priori sont suspectes du point de vue de la methode et que les donnees ne peuvent donner lieu ä une Interpretation que pour le contexte a l'interieur duquel elles ont ete relevees. Place sera faite ensuite ä l'interpretation de productions linguistiques empruntees a diverses formes d'enseignement des langues etrangeres, Interpretation s'appuyant chaque fois sur un ensemble de questions proprement speciflque pour la forme de l'enseignement considere. II sera ainsi possible de presenter dans la theorie des concepts aussi riches de sens que ceux d"attente' et de 'norme' et de les illustrer ä l'aide de nombreux exemples dans les cadres des corpora de donnees etablis. Pris comme points de depart ces exemples permettront de demontier d'une part pour ce qui est de la recherche concernant l'acquisition d'une langue seconde et pour ce qui est de la recherche relative ä l'enseignement des langues et axee sur l'enseignement des langues en milieu scolaire d'autre part, ces exemples permettront donc de demontrer que l'environnement linguistique respectif, les objets de la recherche et l'acception de la notion d'apprentissage ne sont pas ...
