Te auditory patway as a neurobioloical mecanisms involved in autism can be evaluated by evoked potentials. Te objective o tis study was to estimate te auditory brainstem response o te pulse click considerin te latency o waves I III and V; te interpeaks I-III I-V III-V and te amplitude o te wave V and relate tem wit te ormal and pramatic aspects o communication and the autism quotient. The results showed that there are significant differences between the auditory brainstem response o te autistic roup and te control roup. Furtermore in te adolescent autistic roup te latency o wave V and te interpeak I-V would be te indexes tat would reac to predict te autism quotient.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
