Este estudo possui o objetivo de descrever e analisar as transformações provocadas pela pandemia de COVID-19 na organização e nas condições de trabalho de docentes da educação básica no Rio Grande do Sul. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória de metodologia mista, que contou com a participação de 686 professores. A coleta de dados foi realizada entre junho e outubro de 2021, de forma online, através de questionários e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os dados foram submetidos à análise estatística descritiva e à análise temática. No momento da pesquisa, 53,5% dos participantes estavam exercendo atividades parcialmente presenciais e parcialmente remotas. Os docentes declararam estar trabalhando mais (85,6%), realizando mais horas extras (79%), com algum tipo de dificuldade em planejar e executar as atividades à distância (87%) e com dificuldades na utilização de ferramentas virtuais requeridas na realização de seu trabalho (80,4%). Todavia, apenas 43,1% tiveram formação promovida pela instituição de ensino. Os dados coletados evidenciaram um contexto laboral marcado pela sobrecarga de trabalho e pelo frágil suporte institucional. Concluiu-se que são necessárias políticas públicas de atenção à saúde do trabalhador na educação básica, fortalecendo os coletivos de trabalho e as ações de suporte aos docentes.
O objetivo deste estudo é apresentar uma revisão integrativa da produção cientifica sobre saúde e trabalho dos motoristas de caminhão, realizada em dezembro de 2021. Os descritores utilizados foram: “condução de veículo" or "veículos automotores" and "trabalho" em português na plataforma BVS e para as plataformas Scopus e Web of science em língua inglesa: “vehicle driving" or "motor vehicles" and "work”. Incialmente foram encontrados 1.061 artigos. Aplicado os critérios de inclusão e exclusão restaram 74 estudos. Os dados foram submetidos à estatística simples e à análise temática. A maioria dos estudos foram publicações em 2018 e nos Estados Unidos. O método quantitativo foi a abordagem que prevaleceu e a base com maior número de publicações foi a Science Direct. As temáticas dos artigos resultaram em cinco categorias: saúde física, saúde mental, condições e organização do trabalho, acidentes e uso de substâncias. Concluiu-se que as condições de trabalho influenciam diretamente a saúde dos motoristas, existe uma invisibilidade na área acadêmica, evidenciando a necessidade de ampliação de estudos sobre o tema e também de construção de políticas públicas efetivas de promoção da saúde no trabalho.
Este estudo objetivou analisar, sob o panorama da literatura científica brasileira, as configurações do trabalho na contemporaneidade, bem como identificar quais os riscos e agravos ocupacionais a que estão expostos os trabalhadores e sua interface com a proteção social. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases SciELO, LILACS e MEDLINE. A busca inicial resultou em 323 artigos, dos quais 135 foram considerados aptos para a análise, atendendo aos critérios pré-definidos de elegibilidade. Os resultados apontaram que as transformações nas configurações do trabalho refletem no aumento da exposição dos trabalhadores aos riscos e agravos ocupacionais, ao mesmo tempo em que se observa um constante desmonte da proteção social brasileira.O artigo conclui haver um cenário de progressiva retração dos direitos trabalhistas, desproteção social e precarização do trabalho.
