El artículo busca identificar los aspectos metodológicos y contextuales relevantes de los proyectos de iniciación científica de los programas virtuales de Periodismo y Comunicación en el Politécnico Grancolombiano. Como metodología aplica una revisión sistemática de los Proyectos de Investigación Formativa existentes en el repositorio institucional; mediante la aplicación de criterios de inclusión y exclusión construye una matriz de análisis, del total de documentos incorporados a éste en un período de tiempo determinado. Los resultados evidencian que el 52% de los proyectos de investigación de mayor calidad cuentan con participación de estudiantes en diferentes regiones de Colombia, lo que evidencia el trabajo colaborativo de índole virtual. Los productos comunicativos presentan una correspondencia con habilidades formativas que desarrollan los estudiantes en el ámbito comunicacional; el resultado propone análisis continuo, con tutores de diferentes niveles (como estrategia pedagógica) para consolidar los proyectos en ambos programas a nivel disciplinar.

Dentro de este camino, el Politécnico ha configurado un ADN innovador, lo que le ha permitido ser pionero en algunos aspectos inexplorados en Colombia. Es así</div><div data-canvas-width="444.95748454751765">como en la búsqueda de orientar programas dirigidos a necesidades específicas, la Institución, desde su misma fundación, incursionó en la formación tecnológica, organizada en ciclos propedéuticos, que plantea al estudiante posibilidades de formación durante su desarrollo profesional. La simbiosis entre explorar las necesidades del mercado laboral y la aplicación de la formación por ciclos trazó una nueva forma de enfrentar la educación, lo que consecuentemente condujo a la construcción de herramientas para hacer más eficiente el proceso formativo.</div>
Artículo de revisión sobre la internacionalización. Considera los gremios como actores del proceso, desde una visión del efecto trampolín en la pequeña y mediana industria (Pyme). La metodología empleada fue la aplicación de un instrumento cualitativo orientado a empresas de Software y Tecnologías informáticas (SW&TI) afiliadas a FEDESOFT en Colombia. Analiza la percepción que tienen los directores de empresas de la Industria del Software y Tecnologías Informáticas. Plantea la existencia de factores externos que impulsan y determinan la internacionalización de la empresa, los gremios y los organismos públicos y/o privados los que canalizan información relevante del entorno para que el directivo la acerque a su realidad empresarial, lo cual demuestra la importancia de la asociación gremial en nuestro país. El artículo concluye que el efecto trampolín puede ser positivo en las capacidades y recursos de las empresas para expandirse localmente a través de la adquisición y control de filiales. Recomienda un mayor apoyo empírico, sobre el conocimiento de recursos disponibles en las redes para atender las necesidades de los nuevos mercados, así como la gestión de la cadena de suministros locales para tener acceso a los recursos en el entorno primario y sus redes de conocimiento.
<p>El uso de la tecnología de la información y la tecnología de realidad virtual puede convertirse en una herramienta potente para la educación virtual. Pero también puede convertirse en un activismo desmesurado sin la correcta evaluación y comprensión de su función dentro del proceso educativo. Explicar el valor de la tecnología de realidad virtual 3D en las aplicaciones educativas que contribuyen a la mejora general de la motivación y la experiencia de aprendizaje del alumno se convierte, entonces, en uno de los principales retos para las instituciones que se plantean los Ambientes Virtuales de Aprendizaje (AVA), como elementos trasversales en el proceso de formación. La integración de multimedia o realidad virtual con procesos de aprendizaje autogestionados puede ofrecer una experiencia inmersiva e interactiva que complemente las conferencias tradicionales en el aula y cree un aprendizaje en línea innovador en los planes de estudio y la formación profesional (Huang, Backman, Backman, McGuire, & Moore, 2019).</p>
Esta primera década de historia de la educación virtual en la Institución Universitaria Politécnico Grancolombiano (POLI) es producto de arduo trabajo de un equipo humano comprometido con la concepción de la virtualidad en la institución, y del cumplimiento de uno de nuestros principales propósitos: brindar educación de calidad y accesible, sin distinción de ninguna clase, con el fin de fomentar una sociedad más equitativa, justa y sostenible.
