Tendo em vista a recente discussão sobre a pandemia da Covid-19 e a adoção das medidas de distanciamento social no Brasil, este artigo apresenta as possíveis causas do aumento do consumo de álcool em consequência dos efeitos da pandemia. Ainda há debates de como as estrategias de distanciamento foram adotadas para conter o avanço do vírus e afetaram diretamente a vida das pessoas através da tomada de decisões extremas, como o isolamento social, incluindo a proibição do funcionamento de estabelecimentos, e em consequência, o consumo de álcool, que era realizado nesses espaços, passou a ser feito com maior frequência no domicilio. Outrossim, frente a essa problemática, o artigo em tela, tem como objetivo geral investigar, através da estruturação de uma revisão narrativa de literatura, a influência da pandemia e das medidas de isolamento no aumento do consumo de álcool. A metodologia desse estudo, foi realizada através do método dedutivo por meio da coleta de dados bibliográficos de natureza qualitativa e documental, formando uma pesquisa exploratória. Deste, modo conforme a pesquisa executada foi constatado um ápice no consumo de bebidas alcoólicas durante o período de isolamento social, principalmente pelo público jovem. Diante desse contexto, deve-se ressaltar que a intervenção precoce nos casos de dependência de álcool é de extrema importância na prevenção do desenvolvimento do alcoolismo crônico para o estabelecimento de melhores estratégias e medidas de saúde pública.
O Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) é um grupo de distúrbios do desenvolvimento neurológico de início precoce, caracterizado por comprometer as habilidades sociais e de comunicação, além de comportamento, podendo afetar a capacidade da pessoa comunicar-se, de estabelecer relacionamentos e de responder apropriadamente ao ambiente que a rodeia. Ainda existem poucos recursos instrumentais para a realização do diagnóstico de pessoas com suspeita de autismo, não existindo nenhum marcador biológico que possibilite um exame preciso para a confirmação ou não desse diagnóstico. No entanto, após o diagnóstico por um profissional de saúde habilitado, em casos mais graves, é necessária uma intervenção medicamentosa, objetivando controlar o quadro, como utilização das classes farmacológicas: Antipsicóticos Atípicos (AAPs), os Inibidores Seletivos da Recaptação de Serotonina (ISRS), Antidepressivos, Estabilizadores de Humor e Anticonvulsivantes. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo realizar um comparativo dos medicamentos receptores de serotonina em crianças com Transtorno Espectro Autista, a partir de um estudo bibliográfico e exploratório. A partir dos resultados obtidos, verificou-se que os fármacos mais utilizados no Brasil para crianças com Transtorno Espectro Autista são: Fluoxetina, Citalopram, Paroxetina, Sertralina, Fluvoxamina e Escitalopram. Cada fármaco possui sua indicação, porém com ações resultados diferentes e ação semelhante, tendo em vista que as diferenças na estrutura do composto intervêm nos perfis farmacocinéticos.
