Introdução: A Sífilis é uma doença infecciosa, sistêmica, de evolução crônica, sujeita a surtos de intensificação e períodos de latência clínica de menor ou maior tempo de duração, decorrente da infecção por uma bactéria, o Treponema pallidum. Sua transmissão é predominantemente por via sexual e vertical (materno-fetal), resultando nas suas formas adquiridas e congênitas, respectivamente. Atualmente a sífilis é considerada uma doença reemergente, devido ao grande aumento da sua incidência nos países em desenvolvimento, enquanto nos países desenvolvidos é atualmente considerada epidemiologicamente estável. A gestação é um período singular para a mulher, pois esta passa por intensas mudanças físicas, hormonais e o aumento da sensibilidade é evidente a reação delas ao receberem um diagnóstico da doença, principalmente as que têm parceiro fixo ao descobrirem que se trata de uma infecção sexualmente transmissível (IST), imediatamente remetem a uma traição e a fragilidade pela gestação intensifica os sentimentos de dor, medo ou traição. A intervenção com as gestantes deve ser intensificada pela possível e inaceitável ocorrência da sífilis congênita nos dias de hoje. Dessa forma, ressalta-se a importância de que os profissionais de saúde respeitem as necessidades da mulher, bem como construam estratégias para abordagem efetiva para o processo de cuidado. Objetivo: Descrever em forma de revisão de literatura, o as implicações e fatores que uma gestante com sorologia positiva para sífilis possui. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão de literatura abordando o tema a maternidade no contexto da sorologia positiva para sífilis, que será realizado durante os meses de abril a dezembro de 2019. A busca de dados foi realizada utilizando o Portal Regional da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), nas bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS). Resultados: A análise da literatura mostrou que a sífilis estudos apontam que 56,5% das gestantes com sífilis recebem tratamento inadequado, 27,3% não recebem tratamento, 12,1% dos casos são ignorados e apenas 4,1% recebem a terapêutica adequada, Vale ressaltar que a maioria das gestantes não tratadas ou não tratadas adequadamente podem transmitir a infecção para seus conceptos, podendo causar morte fetal, morte neonatal, prematuridade, baixo peso ao nascer ou a infecção congênita. A literatura aponta que tal acometimento está associado à vulnerabilidade social que a mulher vivencia. Conclusão: Considerando a dimensão dos dados publicados, torna-se imprescindível a implementação e manutenção de práticas para controle e prevenção da sífilis. Faz-se necessário complementar as políticas públicas para que toda a população tenha acesso aos serviços de saúde; independente de sua situação social.
Introdução: A diabetes mellitus gestacional (DMG) tem como definição uma alteração no metabolismo dos carboidratos, desenvolvendo assim uma hiperglicemia de intensidade variável, que pode ser diagnosticada pela primeira vez ou se inicia durante a gestação. O pré-natal é o acompanhamento realizado pela equipe de uma Unidade de Saúde que tem como objetivo acompanhar as condições de saúde da gestante e do feto. É de suma importância que as gestantes iniciem seu pré-natal assim que tiverem a gravidez confirmada, ou antes de completarem três meses de gestação. O acompanhamento das gestantes deve ser exercido por uma equipe multidisciplinar com experiência nesta patologia, inclusive a relação do enfermeiro, que de forma geral será o primeiro contato da gestante, e mais forte. O tratamento inclui medidas de insulinoterapia e também medidas educativas em saúde, nutrição e programação de atividade física perinatal. Objetivo: o presente estudo teve por objetivo identificar a relevância dos cuidados de enfermagem prestados às mulheres com DMG durante a assistência ao pré-natal. Metodologia: trata-se de um estudo de revisão de literatura abordando o tema atenção no pré – natal de gestantes com diabetes gestacional, realizado durante os meses de março a maio de 2019. A busca de dados foi realizada utilizando o Portal Regional da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde, BVS, nas bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), através de combinações dos seguintes descritores: Diabetes Mellitus, Enfermagem, diabetes gestacional e unidade de saúde da família. Resultados: os resultados foram bastante esclarecedores, muitas gestantes tem medo da diabetes e de que ela possa continuar após a gestação, foi demonstrado também que o risco em mulheres acima de 35 anos para contrair a DMG é de 49,3% e alimentação errada de 33,6% sendo as maiores causas da diabetes gestacional. Conclusão: concluímos que devido às alterações hormonais e como este efeito influi no curso da gestação e do feto, é importante que no pré-natal seja diagnosticado o mais precoce possível esta patologia e que a gestante esteja bem esclarecida sobre a doença, suas complicações, controle e importância de sua participação no tratamento.
