Agradeço primeiramente a Deus que me guiou e me deu força e coragem para percorrer esse caminho, passando por todos os obstáculos e nunca me deixou desistir. À minha mãe, Adenilde Andrade, por todo apoio, compreensão e amor. Por ter sido meu porto seguro em minha trajetória, além de ser a pessoa em que me espelho como profissional e como pessoa. À minha irmã Ellen Andrade, por dividir as alegrias e frustrações como se fossem dela, por estar sempre comigo, me apoiando na vida e por ser uma incrível tia nos momentos que precisei estar longe da minha pequena para alcançar mais um sonho. Me permitiu dar passos sozinha para que eu me tornasse a profissional que sou hoje. Ao professor Rogério Batista dos Santos por todo apoio, dicas, broncas e por ter me apresentado o mundo da pesquisa por qual eu me apaixonei. À minha amiga e companheira de experimento Bruna Stanigher, que dividiu sonhos, experimentos, alegrias, tristezas, desesperos e que se fez além de colega, uma amiga querida. À minha equipe, equipe FAROFA, que sempre esteve disponível para me tirar dúvidas, me dar conselhos, colaborar comigo e foram o refúgio naqueles momentos em que pensamos em desistir. Carol, Sellera e Ronaldo, cada um de vocês tem uma contribuição única e especial em todo esse meu processo. A Gabizinha que agora faz parte da equipe, mas foi meu primeiro contato na USP, me ajudou, me ambientou e me ensinou sobre manejo de bezerros.
