O estudo do clima urbano representa um dos importantes temas emergentes socioambientais para a sociedade. O presente trabalho realizou o estudo do clima na cidade de João pessoa (Paraíba, Brasil), no período de 1963 a 1970 e 2001 a 2015, a partir das observações de temperatura do ar, umidade relativa e pluviosidade. A presente pesquisa utilizou o subsistema Termodinâmico e Hidrometeórico, onde seus canais de percepção são utilizados como subsídio teórico para a compreensão de eventos climáticos com efeitos geradores de impactos no âmbito social e ambiental. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que na cidade estudada o processo de urbanização tem alterado o clima, ressaltando a fragilidade do planejamento urbano. A partir dos resultados analisados, observou-se variações entre dois períodos diferentes, onde em alguns anos ocorreram aumentos significativos.
<p>O presente trabalho buscou sintetizar e monitorar os biodieseis proveniente da transesterificação homogênea alcalina do óleo de soja e mamona via rota etílica/metílica, por catálise básica, bem como avaliar a estabilidade de indução oxidativa pela norma EN14112. Também, foi observado o comportamento dos referidos biodiesel, inseridos em blendas nas proporções variando de 10, 20 e 30% v/v de biodiesel de mamona ao biodiesel de soja, denominadas de o BES, BEM e suas BSMX e BMS, BMM e suas BSMX (em recipientes de vidro fechados com luz), respectivamente. Conforme análises físico-químicas, todas as especificações para ambos biodiesel e blendas satisfizeram as exigências dos limites permitidos pelo Regulamento Técnico nº 7 da Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis (ANP). Com exceção do tempo de indução oxidativa (2,26 e 3,35 h) e a viscosidade cinemática (14,89 e 13,98 mm<sup>2</sup>/s) que apresentaram valores fora dos limites estabelecidos pela norma vigente. As blendas apresentaram maior estabilidade oxidativa em relação ao biodiesel etílico/metílico de soja. O estudo das propriedades fluidodinâmicas demonstrou que tanto os resultados de ponto de nevoa, fluidez e ponto de entupimento de filtro a frio, apresentaram comportamento semelhantes para os biodieseis etílicos/metílicos e blendas e, portanto, nestas concentrações o biodiesel metílico de mamona atua como um aditivo natural ao biodiesel metílico de soja. Através do método EN 14112 verificou-se que a blenda em 30% é mais resistente ao processo de oxidação.</p>
