Este número especial de la revista Opinión Pública presenta las memorias del II Coloquio de Investigación: Visiones de Paz desde los Territorios, organizado por la Especialización en Paz y Desarrollo Territorial y el Grupo de Investigación Paz, Desarrollo Territorial e Innovación Educativa de la Corporación Unificada Nacional de Educación Superior – CUN.
La revista Opinión Pública alcanza su edición número catorce en medio de una situación que afectó radicalmente nuestra forma de vida: la pandemia de COVID-19. Efectivamente, la situación sanitaria a nivel global ha puesto a prueba a los sistemas de salud de todo el mundo y ha obligado a la sociedad a cambiar sus comportamientos, entre ellos, el de la proximidad física como elemento fundamental de las relacionas sociales. El sector educativo se vio especialmente afectado, pues el ejercicio de la docencia se trasladó de las aulas de clase a las plataformas virtuales. Esto no dejó de lado a las demás actividades académicas, entre ellas la investigación y, por supuesto, las publicaciones científicas, como nuestra revista. Para Opinión Pública fue un reto gestionar el actual número de la revista, pues todas las personas implicadas en el proceso editorial debimos adaptar nuestro quehacer a las condiciones de la virtualidad. Así, las discusiones editoriales, el contacto con los autores, la corrección de estilo, la diagramación, entre otras, pasaron de ser reuniones presenciales animadas a sesiones frente a un computador. Con todo, esperamos haber logrado un número que mantuviera los criterios de calidad editorial y rigor científico que caracterizan a la publicación. Por ello, nos enorgullece presentar un número misceláneo de cinco artículos.
