This study alms to examine the efforts of teachers in developing the indenpence of children aged 5-6 years during the covid pandemi. The research method used is qualitative in form of case study approach, because this research was conducted at certain time, namely, during the covid-19 pandemi. The subjects in the study were class teacher in group B1. The location of this research is brother Dahlia kindergarten, Pontianak city. Data collection tools used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the method of giving assignments, the method of habituation and by giving freedom to children as well as providing learnings tools.
