En la actualidad las reformas a la normativa educativa han influido en un cambio generacional del profesorado universitario. El profesorado universitario novel que ingresa a las instituciones de educación superior enfrenta problemas relacionados con la docencia. Esto demanda la necesidad de lograr un equilibrio en lo personal y profesional para ofrecer una enseñanza de calidad. El objetivo es analizar la problemática que enfrenta el profesorado novel y las estrategias que deben implementar IES para la mejora de su desempeño profesional en la docencia, para ello se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sistemática con el objeto de documentarse sobre el problema,. Se evidencia que el profesorado novel demuestra dominio en su disciplina, pero la mayoría carece de formación pedagógica y didáctica, generando dificultades en su gestión de aula repercutiendo en su desempeño profesional. Por lo que es necesario que las instituciones de educación implementen un proceso de inducción organizada e integral que le permita insertarse de manera efectiva en el trabajo docente. De igual manera debe contar con un plan de desarrollo profesional del profesorado articulado con la práctica diaria y que fomente procesos de reflexión, investigación, seguimiento y acompañamiento al profesorado para la mejora de su desempeño profesional
El podómetro es considerado una herramienta eficaz, para el control y medición de la actividad física, transformándose en una herramienta motivadora para el incremento del número de pasos en niños y adolescentes. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar las diferencias en la actividad física de los escolares ecuatorianos, a través de la medición y control de la frecuencia de pasos realizados en el transcurso de un día; considerando para ello género, edad, presencia o ausencia de la clase de Educación Física y las recomendaciones actuales de pasos/día. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 50 escolares (27 hombres y 23 mujeres, media ± desviación estándar: 1,46 (+0,5), alumnos de primero de bachillerato del Centro Educativo “Don Bosco La Tola” de Quito-Ecuador. Se utilizó un podómetro Omron HJ-152-E; analizando a los jóvenes en función del cumplimiento de las recomendaciones establecidas (11.000 pasos/día). Se realizaron análisis descriptivos, así como análisis de frecuencias, para ver si existían diferencias significativas, se realizó la prueba T-student para las variables de género, edad y datos emparejados. Los resultados muestran que los adolescentes cumplen con las recomendaciones mínimas cuando realizan las clases de Educación Física (Día+EF1= 11.067 p/d y Día+EF2= 11.413 p/d); evidenciándose la necesidad de plantear estrategias para promover la actividad física en los días que no se realiza la clase de Educación Física.
El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar la relación del voleibol recreativo y la inteligencia interpersonal. La metodología empleada es cuantitativo descriptivo, transversal que permitió analizar las variables estudiadas en un momento determinado. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 60 estudiantes de género masculino y femenino pertenecientes a la Facultad de Cultura Física de la Universidad Central del Ecuador. Se empleó un cuestionario de autorreferencia, elaborado por el propio investigador y validado por un comité de expertos, para identificar la relación existente entre el voleibol recreativo y la inteligencia interpersonal. Para obtener el nivel de confiabilidad de la encuesta se aplicó el Alfa de Cronbach, se realizó un análisis descriptivo con medidas de tendencia y se utilizó la prueba de Chi cuadrado para establecer la relación de las variables. Los resultados fueron una significación ρ= .003, se determinó que existe relación entre el voleibol recreativo y la inteligencia interpersonal en los participantes del estudio. Como conclusiones se puede decir que la mayoría de los participantes concuerdan que el voleibol recreativo favorece las relaciones interpersonales entre compañeros en las clases de Actividad Física Recreativa.
