In einzelnen Teilen der Brennofen, z. B. in der rotierenden Tromniel des P e t r i -H e c k i n g herrscht noch hiihere Temperatur (220"); durch passende ,,Mischung" wird vei'wendharer Stuckgips hergestellt. Bei 400-500" (in den Schachtofen ist die Temperatur oft noch hoher) entsteht die anhydridische Modifikation des Gipses, welche die spezifischen Eigenschaften des E s t r i c h g i p s e s besitztg).
