В статье представлены новые данные о химическом составе и температурном режиме термальных вод Республики Бурятия. Показано, что термальные воды являются пресными (минерализация не превышает 500 мг/л), слабощелочными и щелочными (pH от 8,2 до 9,7). Исследуемые термы по своему химическому составу относятся преимущественно к HCO 3 -SO 4 -Na и SO 4 -Na типам, однако встречаются термы SO 4 -HCO 3 -Na типа. Оценка температур на глубине циркуляции была произведена с помощью Si-и Na/K-геотермометров. Согласно полученным результатам расчётов по Si-геотермометру при адиабатическом охлаждении температура терм на глубине циркуляции составляет от 98 до 143 °C, по Si-геотермометру при кондуктивном охлаждении -от 97 до 150 °C. Температуры терм на глубине, рассчитанные по Na/K-геотермометрам, варьируют от 74 до 173 °C. С помощью построения диаграммы Гиггенбаха для термальных вод исследуемого региона установлено, что применение Na/K-геотермометра возможно только для источников Сеюйский и Змеиный. Кроме этого, в рамках настоящего исследования проведена оценка степени смешения термальных вод и холодных подземных вод по мере миграции первых к зоне разгрузки. Оценка степени смешения терм произведена с помощью построения модели смешения Si-энтальпия, которая показывает, что большая часть термальных вод подвержена смешению с холодными водами.
