При конструюванні багатопараметричних технічних систем важливим є вибір конструктивних параметрів шляхом дослідження перебігу процесів із залученням багатовимірних фазових (просторів ?) і просторів стану. Формування експлуатаційних характеристик досліджуваної системи часто виконують за допомогою інтегральних кривих чи фазових траєкторій. Результати візуалізації, інтерпретації та аналізу перехідних процесів у технічних системах часто обґрунтовуються використанням поверхонь другого порядку, зокрема, циліндричних. Враховуючи багатопараметричність системи, важливо встановити особливості проекційних зображень таких поверхонь. Викладене дає підстави вважати актуальним завдання розроблення геометричних засобів відображення поверхонь другого порядку у моделях багатопараметричних технічних систем з використанням багатовимірних евклідових просторів, вимірність яких визначається числом функціональних параметрів досліджуваної технічної системи. Конструювання геометричних образів як багатовидів та гіперповерхонь обхоплюючих евклідових просторів прослідковуємо у працях щодо параметризації багатовимірних геометричних образів, у розробленні композиційного методу утворення поверхонь геометричними засобами Балюби– Найдиша числення. Деякі роботи обґрунтовують та узагальнюють на багатовимірний фазовий простір геометричні засоби фазової площини. У прикладній багатовимірній геометрії відоме обмежене число наукових розвідок щодо узагальнення проекцій поверхонь тривимірного евклідового простору. Мета статті – дослідження і обґрунтування проекційних зображень багатовимірних циліндричних поверхонь щодо розширення можливостей практичного застосування геометричних засобів багатовимірних фазових і просторів стану технічних систем. Розглядаються графічні засоби прикладної багатовимірної геометрії щодо узагальнення поверхонь другого порядку тривимірного евклідового простору на прикладі циліндричних поверхонь як засобів досліджень багатопараметричних технічних систем з використанням їх моделей. Показані особливості проекційних зображень тривимірних циліндричних поверхонь чотиривимірного евклідового простору з урахуванням належності багатовидів нижчої вимірності.
