We studied new simultaneous observations of the flux variations of the photospheric and chromospheric emissions of 33 solar-type stars and Sun during the HK-project that were conducted over the past 20 years. In addition to the known cyclic chromospheric emission variations of stars at the 11-year time scale, which were discovered at the Mount Wilson Observatory, we found a recurrences that are similar to the quasi-biennial variations of solar radiation. The results of calculations of the radiation fluxes variations periods of stars at the quasi-biennial scale are given.
A cultural role of astronomical education at all levels is well known and it is needless to repeat the corresponding arguments. Nobody denies it, but nobody can propose any universal way of introducing Astronomy on a level this branch of science deserves. There is a good tradition to appreciate Astronomy in Russian schools. For more than a century part of the natural history science in school dedicated to the Universe has been considered as a separate part of the school curriculum in Russia. Before 1917 it was named Cosmography, and Astronomy thereafter. And up to now there is no decision or prescription to rule it out of the school program.
Ffequency characteristics of the connection between the Sun and the temtrid atmosphere caused by the cyclic changes of the solar activity are considered. Cross-spectrd and dispersion analyses are used. Manifestations of the 11 and 80-year solar cycles in the global dynamics of the atmosphere such M recurrence of circulation patterns, meridional and mud pressure gradients and some oceanic parameters are revealed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
