High‐Performance Dielectric Elastomer Nanogenerators
In article number 2201098 by Shiju E, Kang Liu, Zhong Lin Wang, and co‐workers, a freestanding stretchable generator (100 μm thick) with high output performance is reported. To get rid of the limit of external power supplies, the authors use the electret electrostatic voltage source (EEVS), the pump circuit, and dielectric elastomer capacitor to construct a dielectric elastomer generator based on alternative current method (AC‐DEG). The AC‐DEG shows high charge density and high energy density and can reaches the same output performance as the traditional DEG with external power supply of several kilovoltages.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
