The research objective was to describe the improvement of student learning discipline through habituation of Dhuha prayer at SD Negeri Kadingding, Kibin District. The data type of this research is descriptive qualitative using three data analyzes, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach which includes field research (Field Research) with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of SD Negeri Kadingding, Kibin District. Data were collected from 33 grade V students, 17 male students and 16 female students. Class V was taken as the sample because grade V children are in the high grade level between grades IV, V, VI. This research was conducted for 40 days starting from 23 July to 8 October 2019. The results of this study indicate 1) thatwith the implementation of the practice of the Dhuha prayer at SD Negeri Kadingding, Kibin District, which is held every Tuesday to Friday at 06.30 - 07.00, the Duha prayer is carried out in congregation starting from grade I to grade VI, the number of cycles of dhuha prayer from the school recommends a minimum of 2 cycles of prayer in advance to improve time discipline and get used to performing Duha prayers. 2) the percentage of the implementation of this Dhuha prayer habit has an effect on increasing student discipline in learning; 3) The condition of the place used for the Dhuha prayer is inadequate, because it uses the school yard field by laying out a mat, so it takes time to prepare for the Dhuha prayer.
Siklotron adalah alat akselerator berkas partikel yang digunakan untuk berbagai aplikasi, salah satunya yaitu sebagai penghasil radioisotop medis. Pada saat ini, Pusat Riset Teknologi Akselerator, Organisasi Riset Tenaga Nuklir - Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (PRTA ORTN-BRIN) melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan (litbang) siklotron DECY-13 yang telah mencapai tahap pengujian komponen-komponen utamanya. Komponen utama siklotron DECY-13 terdiri atas sistem magnet, sistem generator frekuensi radio (radio frequency, RF), sistem sumber ion, sistem akselerator, sistem pendingin, sistem vakum, dan sistem deteksi berkas. Dalam rangka proses commissioning, perlu dilakukan penyusunan desain integrasi sistem instrumentasi dan kendali (SIK) yang menyatukan operasi seluruh komponen utama siklotron DECY-13 untuk menghasilkan berkas partikel sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Proses integrasi dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama berupa penentuan prosedur operasi pada saat commissioning serta identifikasi parameter operasi, sedangkan tahap kedua berupa perancangan desain integrasi SIK. Proses identifikasi parameter dan penentuan prosedur operasi dilakukan dengan mempelajari data-data pengujian dan standar operasi masing-masing komponen, sehingga diperoleh parameter-parameter penting dalam operasi. Tahap selanjutnya adalah melakukan pengembangan arsitektur SIK dengan cara mengintegrasikan sistem operasi pada komponen utama menggunakan metode distributed control system (DCS). Metode ini dipilih karena fleksibilitasnya untuk pengembangan jangka panjang dan juga kemudahan dalam perawatan sistem di masa depan. Konfigurasi DCS yang dibuat terdiri atas tiga layer, yaitu operator layer, main control layer, dan device layer. Komunikasi antara device layer dengan main control layer dilakukan menggunakan komunikasi serial RS-232, sedangkan komunikasi antara main control layer dengan operator layer menggunakan Eternet. Komunikasi RS-232 antara device layer dengan main control layer digunakan untuk mengatur proses akuisisi data, data logging, dan kendali operasi. Pada operator layer terdapat host-PC yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan data sekaligus melakukan data logging. Desain ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan dalam implementasi penyempurnaan SIK, sehingga kemudahan dalam proses commissioning dapat terwujud.
Abstract The objectives of this study were to find out the effect of implementation of scientific method assisted by graphic media to improve students' English speaking skills. The research used action research design. The subjects were 30 second year eight class students of SMPN 1 Cikidang Sukabumi. Observation, interviews, stionnaires, and documentation were employed to collect the data of the students‟ learning ctivities and speaking tests were conducted to identify students‟ speaking achievement. In the scientific method students carry out observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating activities, where these activities can train students to speak English. The implementation of this study by applying the scientific method assisted by graphic media is as much as two cycles. In the pre-action stage there were 2 students with a percentage of learning completeness of 6.7%, after the action applied in the first cycle, as many as 8 students with a percentage of learning completeness 26.7% and English speaking skills of students after the second cycle, as many as 28 students with a percentage of 93.3% learning completeness. So, it can be concluded that the scientific method assisted by graphic media can improve English speaking skills of class VIII H students of SMPN 1 Cikidang Sukabumi.
