The extraction of rare earth ions with aliphatic monocarboxylic acids from sulfate solutions and suspensions was studied. The region of disperse interfacial structures, stabilizing the emulsion, was found. Extractable complexes of rare earth carboxylates were determined. The conditions of the extraction conversion of rare earth sulfate salts with monocarboxylic acids were determined.
We have studied the crystallization conditions of single phase nanopowders of solid solutions between mixed oxides based on titanium(IV), zirconium(IV), and divalent metals (barium, strontium, and lead). Our results demonstrate that hydrous ammonium containing oxohydroxo precursors to titanium(IV) and zirconium(IV) have considerable potential for use in the synthesis of such materials.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
