The maximum value of the magnetomechanical coupling coefficient was equal to 0.15 for the as-quenched state and 0.7 after annealing at 450°C. The changes of the elasticity moduli (DE effect) from about 60 to 180 GPa were observed after annealing at this temperature. These changes are connected with magnetostriction (equal to 25.8 x 10 -8 at saturation), internal stresses, defects, mechanical, magnetic and heat treatment history.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
