The article presents the author's concept of experimental geographical ecology and describes its core-landscape ecology-as well as the author's empirical-statistical models and derived ecological-geographical concepts, which reveal the mechanisms by which landscape-ecological systems form at the regional and local levels, their natural and anthropogenic dynamics, and evolutionary trends. Landscapeecological analysis is carried out with specific examples involving a large body of factual material and applying methods that empirically imitate calculated forecasted situations.
