Diese ;";amen treEen durchaus das Charakteristische in der auSeren Erscheinung der hochst eigentumlichen Gebilde, die bald durch einen organischen m'achstumprozeb entstanden, bald durch mechanische Bearbeitung eines ursprunglich massiven Materials hervorgebracht scheinen.Man trifft isolierte, auberst feine Haare von oft betrgchtlicher Lange neben dickeren Striihnen, die meist von einem verhaltnismiiflig breiten Fubende in eine feine Spitze anslanfen und bisweilen spiralig zu Locken gewnnden sind. Ein andermal sind kiirzere Harchen zu einer moosartigen AIasse verfilzt, oder scheinen feine Drahte zu einem leichten Filigrangeflecht verarbeitet.
