Using the time-differential perturbed angular distribution method (TDPAD) the g-factors of the 11/2-isomeric states in 115Sb and 1178b have been measured to be g(aasSb, 11/2-)=0.97 _+0.10 and g(l17Sb, 11/2-) = 1.02 _+0.07. The experimental half-lives and the g-factors are compared to the single-particle estimates.
By time-differential observation of the perturbed angular distribution in an external magnetic field, the g-factor of the 11/2-isomeric state in 139pr has been measured, g= + 1.20+0.09. The angular distribution also shows an attenuation with relaxation time, r R = 19_+ 6 ns. This relaxation is due to paramagnetic interaction of the nucleus with the 4f-electrons. Our determination of the isomeric half-life, T~/2 =45.5 +0.9 ns does not agree with previous measurements.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
