В работе исследовали влияние постоянной темноты и антагониста рецепторов мелатонина лузиндола на содержание витаминов А и Е в органах молодых и старых крыс линии Вистар. Две группы крыс с момента рождения содержались в условиях стандартного освещения (12 часов свет / 12 часов темнота; LD) или в полной постоянной темноте (DD). В 5 месяцев крыс каждой группы разделили на две подгруппы: одна получала лузиндол (LD+луз, DD+луз) с питьевой водой в дозе 0,22 мг/кг веса, другая -плацебо. В 6 месяцев часть животных выводили из эксперимента, а оставшиеся крысы находились в соответствующих условиях до 24-месячного возраста. Содержание витаминов определяли в сердечной и скелетной мышцах, печени и почках методом ВЭЖХ. Результаты экспериментов показали, что действие лузиндола в темноте и при стандартном освещении имело разную направленность. В печени, сердечной и скелетной мышцах крыс выявлено возрастное увеличение содержания витамина А при обоих световых режимах. Уровень витамина Е в органах старых крыс по сравнению с молодыми изменялся незначительно в условиях стандартного освещения. Значительные изменения содержания витаминов А и Е обнаружены в сердечной и скелетной мышечных тканях, печень оказалась наименее подвержена воздействию темноты и лузиндола. В условиях световой депривации лузиндол приводил к более выраженным изменениям уровня витаминов у старых крыс. Нарушение светового ритма вызывало изменения уровня витаминов А и Е, выраженность которых зависела от вида ткани, возраста животных и продолжительности воздействия. В тканях крыс, содержавшихся в разных световых условиях, обнаружены тканеспецифические изменения содержания витаминов, которые наиболее отчетливо проявлялись у старых животных.
