With the special conditions of adults, teaching them needs to be based on appropriate practical principles. Although not the dominant determinant, educators still need to master it properly to be successful in accompanying adults in learning. Therefore it is necessary to study practical principles for the teacher in teaching adults. Through a literature review, an analysis and synthesis of previous findings has been carried out. At least there are six affective principles that need to be considered, namely recognizing them as adults, paying attention to their experiences, understanding their needs, understanding their goals, strengthening their motivation, appreciating the uniqueness of each individual, and giving roles in the main group. Teachers manage adult study groups keeping in mind their independent, personal and experienced features. The Disruption Era calls for the emergence of innovations in various fields, including in Christian Education. Generation Z (Gen-Z), the largest population in Indonesia today, is well-adapted generation to digital technology. Gen-Z Christians (GZC) who live in this disruptive era consider digital technology needs to be accompanied by mentors for their spiritual growth; especially in Bible study. For planning and determining the right learning strategies, their attitude towards Bible study needs to be understood first. The essence of the seven characteristics of Gen-Z are Fidigital, Hypercustoms, Realistic, Weconomist, Fomo, DIY, and Driven. The data collected was analyzed based on a qualitative descriptive method by using a survey through a questionnaire. 200 respondents using a purposive random sampling participated in the questionnaires collected from several cities in Indonesia. It can be concluded taht GZC's attitude is in line with the characteristics of this Gen-Z, they can be independent and realistic, but not hyper custom; they believe in the Bible and value spiritual mentors so they agree to actively study the Bible, especially using digital technology, and enjoy the benefits of studying the Bible with others.
Planning is an activity that also determines the success of learning. Planning activities in the practical form of compiling learning tools, such as syllabus, RPS, or RPP, cannot be ignored. The teachers have been trained, directed and even supervised to do so. However, some Christian teachers are not necessarily willing to do it diligently. For those who have not or who have done, need to be strengthened with a stronger encouragement. The Bible is the authoritative Word of God and can be a source of encouragement for every Christian, including Christian teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to find Bible truths that are relevant to planning. Excavated Bible passages, especially those relevant to the topic. After investigation, found truths that are ready to be applied; that the planning is: 1) Needs to be done; 2) It is necessary to ask for God's participation in carrying it out; 3) Need to be implemented properly; 4) the activity is closed with submission to God's will. Christian teachers who value the authority of the Bible will pay attention to and obey God's Word to do well in lesson planning.
