Background: Pediatric nurses are susceptive with stress related to their work. It happens because they take care children who experience the disease and emotional and psychological pressure, so it can make the risk of negative symptoms related with compassion satisfaction, burnout, secondary traumatic stress. Compassion satisfaction, burnout, secondary traumatic stress has an impact not only for them, but also for the quality of treatment.Objective: Identify related factors to nurse’s compassion satisfaction, burnout, secondary traumatic stress in pediatric care unit.Method: This study was a descriptive analytic study with cross sectional design. The sample of this study was 107 pediatric nurses of RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. The sampling techniques used proportional random sampling. The data were collected from February-March 2017 using the professional quality of life questionnaire fifth version. The data analyzes used were chi-square, mann-whitney, and ordinal regression.Outcome: 44.9% nurses have moderate compassion satisfaction, 52,3% nurses have moderate burnout, 43% have moderate secondary traumatic stress. The work unit has p <0.05 and β value is 0,945 so it means work unit has significant correlated to the secondary traumatic stress. Age, work position, sex, marital status, interpersonal relationships with colleagues and supervisor, pay satisfaction, and average working hours have p > 0,05 on compassion satisfaction, burnout, secondary traumatic stress, so that factors don’t have correlated to compassion satisfaction, burnout, secondary traumatic stress Conclusion: The work unit is a related factor to the nurse’s secondary traumatic stress in the pediatric care unit and there are no factors related to compassion satisfaction and burnout.
Penularan infeksi virus dengue terjadi melalui vektor nyamuk genus Aedes (terutama A. Aegypti dan A. Albopictus). upaya pencegahan demam berdarahdengan cara promosi kesehatan di sekolah mempunyai efek yang besar. Peran media dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam pendidikan anak usia dini didasari oleh apa yang mereka lihat, dengar, atau pun alami. Oleh karena itu penerimaan pesan pembelajaran melalui pendengaran dan memungkinkan penciptaan pesan belajar melalui visualisasi atau media audio visual. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest with control group. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2018 pada 46 responden. Hasil uji t-test independent menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan anak usia sekolah (p = 0,025) dan tidak ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap sikap anaku usia sekolah (p = 0,510) tentang penyakit demam berdarah.
The background of this research is fear and anxiety in children against immunization will cause reactions at the time of immunization. Some ways that can be done to reduce anxiety in children by providing information or health education related to immunization to children. The study aimed to determine the effect of immunization health education on the anxiety of preimmunization children. The study design used a quasi-experiment with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design approach. In this study, there are two groups, namely the intervention group and the control group in August and September. The sample of this study was elementary school students in Taman Sukarya 1 and 2 data were collected using a questionnaire sheet, the data were processed and analyzed by Univariate and B i variant by Mann-Whitney test. research results show no effect of immunization health education on pre-immunization child anxiety (p = 0.1 16 ). ABSTRAKLatar belakang penelitian ini adalah Ketakutan dan kecemasan pada anak terhadap imunisasi akan menimbulkan reaksi-reaksi pada saat dilakukan imunisasi. Beberapa cara yang bisa dilakukan untuk mengurangi kecemasan pada anak dengan memberikan informasi atau pendidikan kesehatan terkait imunisasi kepada anak. Tujuan penelitian adalah Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan imunisasi terhadap kecemasan anak pra imunisasi Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment dengan pendekatan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pada penelitian ini terdapat dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontroL pada bulan Agustus dan September. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa SD di Taman Sukarya 1 dan 2 data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar kuesioner, data diolah dan dianalisis dengan Univariat dan Bivariat dengan uji mann-whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan imunisasi terhadap kecemasan anak pra imunisasi (p = 0,116). Kata kunci : pendidikan kesehatan, kecemasan, imunisasi
The problems of adolescents in Banten Province are very concerning, including free sex, teenage pregnancy, teenage marriage, teenage childbirth, sexual diseases and deviant sexual behavior. These problems increased from 59% in 2012 to 74% in 2017. Program Pusat Informasi dan Konseling Remaja/Mahasiswa (PIK R/M) is the government's effort in overcoming adolescent problems by using a peer approach. The purpose of this activity is to improve the skills of peer counselors in providing peer counseling on adolescent reproductive health in Lebak Regency, identify the knowledge of peer counselors in providing counseling on adolescent reproductive health and identify the number of peer counseling services in providing counseling before and after the intervention. Service activities in the form of training on peer counseling are divided into four stages of activity. The results of this community service activity are that there is an increase in the knowledge of peer counselors about peer counseling, an increase in the number of peer counseling services as much as 71% carried out by counselors, the addition of online counseling services has increased to 63%, and the production of peer counseling videos which are used as learning materials for members. ABSTRAK Permasalahan remaja di Provinsi Banten sangat memprihatinkan, diantaranya seks bebas, kehamilan remaja, pernikahan remaja, persalinan remaja, penyakit seksual dan perilaku seks menyimpang. Permasalahan ini meningkat dari 59% pada tahun 2012 menjadi 74% pada tahun 2017. Program Pusat Informasi dan Konseling Remaja/Mahasiswa (PIK R/M) merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam mengatasi permasalahan remaja dengan menggunakan pendekatan teman sebaya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan konselor sebaya dalam memberikan konseling sebaya tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja di Kabupaten Lebak, mengidentifikasi pengetahuan konselor sebaya dalam memberikan konseling tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja dan mengidentifikasi jumlah layanan konseling sebaya dalam memberikan konseling sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Kegiatan pengabdian dalam bentuk pelatihan tentang konseling sebaya yang dibagi menjadi empat tahap kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pada konselor sebaya tentang konseling sebaya. Terjadi peningkatan jumlah layanan konseling sebaya sebanyak 71% yang dilakukan oleh konselor, penambahan layanan konseling secara daring meningkat menjadi 63%, serta dihasilkannya video konseling sebaya yang menjadi bahan belajar anggota PIK-R dalam memberikan konseling sebaya.
